Chapter 327 What Estelle Truly Wanted

Third–person POV:

Viola did not answer immediately.

Instead, she turned around and shut the door first before lowering her voice. “I found out that Tiffany is Alpha Hugo’s daughter.”

Laila’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Alpha Hugo? Estelle’s mate?”

“Exactly.” Viola nodded and continued explaining. “She was born from Alpha Hugo and one of those female breeders. Since childhood, she has lived in the rear courtyard, learning how to please men. When she came of age, she was sent directly to Shawn.

“There were several other girls sent away too. I’m guessing their situations are probably similar to Tiffany’s now.“”

As she spoke, confusion appeared on Viola’s face. “But what I don’t understand is… why would Estelle do this? Even if those girls were born from breeders, they’re still technically her children too.”

In the Rydar Kingdom, breeders were nothing more than reproductive tools. They had no right to raise their own children.

Which meant those children had all been raised under Estelle’s authority.

Laila frowned deeply. “That only proves her intentions in forcing those breeders to bear Alpha Hugo’s children were never pure to begin with. Perhaps this was her plan from the very start. To use those girls for something.”

“And besides…” Laila’s eyes darkened slightly. “If we hadn’t investigated, who would’ve ever discovered Tiffany’s true identity?”

Viola blinked, still looking puzzled. “But why? Would Alpha Hugo even agree to this? Those are his daughters. And I heard it was Estelle herself who claimed her body had been injured and that she could no longer bear Alpha Hugo’s pups, which was why she found those breeders in the first place.”

Laila did not answer immediately.

Instead, a thought suddenly surfaced in her mind. After Tiffany entered the Thunder Pack, she seduced Shawn and plunged the entire pack into chaos.

Initially, the Thunder Pack’s growth this year had been extremely promising. And although Shawn had always been arrogant, there had never been any major problems with his conduct or decision–making. But ever since Tiffany appeared, everything had begun spiraling in the worst possible direction.

Could that have been Estelle’s objective all along?

Laila narrowed her eyes. If she remembered correctly, the relationship between the Thunder Pack and Frostfang Pack had never been particularly close.

Could it be… Estelle planned to destroy any pack she failed to win over?

And if that were true, then the cooperation between Estelle and Damian likely ran far deeper than Laila had originally imagined.

“Laila, your expression looks terrifyingly serious. What did you think of?”

Viola asked curiously.

Laila shook her head. “Nothing. Just a few possibilities… but I’m not certain yet.”

Then she reached out and held Viola’s hand. “You don’t need to involve yourself in this. I’ll handle everything.”

She did not want Viola dragged into something so dangerous. The Stones were not particularly powerful. The consequences could be severe if they became entangled in this matter.

Fortunately, Viola had always been straightforward and trusted Laila completely. So she truly stopped thinking about it and simply nodded. “Alright. But if you need anything investigated, tell me anytime. I’ll help.”

Laila smiled faintly. “Having you around is really my good fortune.”

She pulled Viola into a hug.

That night, Viola did not leave. The two of them squeezed into the same bed together, just like when they were back in Moonlight Academy.
