Chapter 344 Love That Never Left
Third–person POV:
Something that important really had to be found.
It was still raining. Morgana wanted to say they should wait for the rain to stop, but Sara already pushed her and Laila’s hands away and stumbled off to search.
But her injured foot was in bad shape. After only two steps, she fell hard onto the ground.
Still, she refused to give up. She simply dropped to her knees and dragged herself forward with one leg, using bot hands to search the ground. Rain soaked her thin body and tangled her long hair. At first glance, she looked almos like a madwoman.
For some reason, Morgana suddenly felt a sting in her chest.
She stepped forward and pulled her up. “Don’t move. Laila and I will find it.”
“No!” Sara shook her head and cried. “I have to find it. I have to find it. It’s very important to me, really important.”
Morgana didn’t know how to respond. Laila held Sara’s hand and comforted her. “Don’t worry. Just wait here. We’ll definitely help you find it.”
Sara was shivering all over. Her hair was soaking wet. You couldn’t tell if the liquid on her face was tears or rain. Her lips trembled violently. “Please, please, you must find it.”
“We will,” Laila promised seriously.
She glanced at Morgana, and Morgana immediately tossed aside her umbrella and started searching.
Laila handed her own umbrella to Sara and went into the rain as well.
The earring had most likely fallen into the nearby bushes when Sara fell earlier.

But the bushes were thick and overgrown. Finding such a tiny earring inside them was difficult.
They searched for over an hour, but Laila and Morgana still hadn’t found it.
Morgana had never done such exhausting work before. She finally lost her temper. “Laila, I’m done searching want to go home.”
Laila looked at her. “Then go tell Sara that yourself.”
“Fine, I will!”

“Damn it!”
She cursed, then bent down to keep searching.
Another half hour passed. Just as Sara was about to join in, Laila finally spotted the earring.
It was tiny and shaped like a green leaf, making it extremely hard to spot among the bushes.
Laila picked it up but handed it to Morgana. “Go give it to her.”
Morgana didn’t refuse. She held the earring and handed it to Sara
Sara grabbed it tightly in her hand and burst into tears.
“Thank you.”
Laila stepped forward and hugged her, letting her cry on her shoulder. The warm tears made Laila’s own heart ache.
