My Drama King Husband (Yvaine and Silas) novel Chapter 36

Silas honestly believed his performance had been improving with every single session.

It wasn't just blind confidence; he could tell by her physical reactions and how thoroughly undone she was by the end.

"They say luck is when preparation meets opportunity," Silas murmured, leaning in slightly. "And trust me, with my level of preparation, fate won't be an issue."

Yvaine: "...!"

Right, right. Mr. Sheridan was the greatest in the world, absolutely unrivaled, capable of a one-shot miracle the second they skipped protection.

But seriously, was he actually going to call the butler for condoms now?

If he did, she would die of sheer mortification.

"...I'm just really exhausted today," she said, trying for a softer, more diplomatic approach.

Silas studied her face. She had spent hours traveling. She really did look tired.

"Fine. Consider tonight a debt," he conceded.

Yvaine blinked, bewildered. "A debt?"

Since when could this kind of thing be put on a tab?

"Yes," Silas nodded seriously. "Rest well tonight. Tomorrow night, you owe me three times."

Yvaine gasped. "...Three?!"

Silas nodded smoothly.

Yvaine was incredulous. "Why three? Even if we carry over tonight's missed session into tomorrow, that only makes two."

Since when did one plus one equal three?

Silas arched a perfectly sculpted brow. "Who told you I was only planning on doing it once tomorrow?"

"I had already planned for twice tomorrow night," he stated casually.

That left Yvaine completely speechless.

Three times.

Did he honestly think he was made of steel?

Even if he had the stamina of a god, there were physical limits to friction. Was it really medically sound for him to be this relentlessly indulgent?

Looking at his infuriatingly calm, confident expression... apparently, it was.
