My Drama King Husband (Yvaine and Silas) novel Chapter 37

Zeno had married Victoria Beckett, giving Silas two cousins, Quentin and Nina.

Yvaine recognized almost all of them from business magazines and high-society news.

After a warm, bustling morning of conversation, the family had breakfast together before traveling in a convoy of luxury cars to a five-star hotel.

Since Silas was the first of his generation to marry, the elders had gone all out. They were deeply impressed with Yvaine's background, character, and beauty, and had arranged a massive banquet specifically to welcome her into the fold.

This wasn't just an intimate family lunch; it was a grand gathering for the entire extended Sheridan clan.

The Docksy branch alone boasted hundreds of relatives. The ballroom was packed with over thirty lavishly decorated tables, the atmosphere vibrant and overwhelmingly lively.

Edward and Catherine escorted Yvaine and Silas from table to table, making formal introductions and offering toasts.

Yvaine's memory was razor-sharp. While she didn't memorize every single face on the first pass, she retained enough names and titles to carry herself flawlessly.

The luncheon transitioned into an afternoon of high tea, card games, and mingling, followed by an equally extravagant dinner banquet.

It wasn't until past 9:00 PM that the event finally concluded, and Yvaine followed the family back to the mansion.

Everyone was completely drained from the day's festivities and retreated to their respective suites immediately.

No sooner had Yvaine and Silas stepped into their bedroom than the butler arrived, followed by staff carrying several heavy, velvet-lined boxes.

These were Yvaine's welcome gifts from the extended relatives.

There were sets of breathtaking jewelry, rare antiques, and priceless calligraphy. The broader Sheridan clan, thriving under the protection of the main house, possessed immense wealth.

As the eldest son of the primary family line, Silas held an incredibly prestigious status, and the relatives' gifts reflected his immense value.

The butler respectfully placed the boxes down and quietly dismissed the staff.

Yvaine walked over, curious to inspect the stunning gifts, but Silas casually interrupted.

"Go take a shower."

Yvaine turned to look at him. He had dressed immaculately for the banquet today. His hair was styled back perfectly, revealing the sharp, striking angles of his flawless face.

He wore a tailored black suit over a black dress shirt, the collar buttoned all the way to his throat, anchored by a sleek tie.

He looked impossibly dignified. Pure, untouchable restraint.
