My Luna Became An Alpha After I Rejected Her novel Chapter 215

Aiden’s car screeched to a stop in front of his downtown penthouse. In the back seat, Amelia sat rigid, fury burning hot beneath her skin. Anger pulsed through her veins like fire. She had screamed, begged, and ordered Aiden to let her go throughout the entire drive, but he never once listened. Several times she had reached for the door handle, ready to fling herself out of the moving car, but he had locked every door.

“Amelia…” Aiden’s voice was low as he stared at her through the rear-view mirror. He could see the storm in her eyes. His throat tightened, and a bead of sweat slid down his forehead.

“Amelia…” he called again. She didn’t answer. She didn’t even blink. Her gaze was fixed outside the window, jaw set tight.

Aiden drew in a shaky breath and stepped out of the car. He moved to the back door, unlocked it, and pulled it open.

Amelia’s eyes snapped to his instantly…hot, cold, furious…yet something electric flickered between them for half a heartbeat. Heat spiked in the space between them, sharp enough to make Aiden swallow hard.

“You should come inside,” he murmured.

Amelia scoffed. “I’m not stepping one foot into that place. You dragged me out of the hospital like I was some kind of criminal, and now you expect me to calmly follow you? And of all places…you brought me here, again?” Her voice cracked, anger and hurt mixing painfully.

“Amelia, you didn’t give me a choice. You refused to talk. I had to bring you somewhere safe—”

“This is kidnapping!” she snapped.

“No. I’m trying to protect you.”

She laughed bitterly. “I do not need your fucking protection. Leave me alone, Aiden. Why is that so hard for you? Just leave me alone!”

Aiden remained silent, chest rising and falling heavily. He knew he wouldn’t win by arguing…she was too angry, and he was too desperate. He exhaled slowly, trying to steady himself. Finally he said quietly:

“Amelia… if you don’t get out of the car, I will pull you out myself and carry you inside.”

She turned her head sharply, eyes locking with his again. Heat skittered down her spine despite her rage.

“You won’t touch me,” she hissed.

“Oh yes, I will.”

Before she could react, he reached into the car, grabbed her, and hoisted her over his shoulder.

“Aiden! Let me go!” she yelled, kicking and twisting.

“Stay still,” he warned softly. “You’ll fall.”

His tone…gentle, warm, painfully tender…hit her harder than she expected. It seeped into her anger, smothering it for a moment. Her body stiffened on his shoulder. She stopped struggling. Stopped yelling. Her wolf stirred… confused, drawn, aching.

Aiden opened the penthouse door, carried her inside, and set her gently on the bed. Then he stepped back, shut the door, and locked it. The click echoed sharply in the room. He slid the key into his pocket.

Amelia stood immediately, chest heaving.

“You can’t keep forcing me to stay with you, Aiden. You can’t take away my right to choose. I chose Damien…not you! Why can’t you just understand that and leave me alone? Besides, you’re getting married. Shouldn’t you be with your fiancée? With Racheal?” Her voice trembled as tears filled her eyes.

Aiden’s jaw clenched. “You think it’s easy?” His voice broke slightly. “I’ve tried to let you go. Over and over. I can’t.”

He took a step closer.

“And fuck Racheal.” His voice dropped into a raw whisper. “I want you. Not her. I love you. Not her. She means nothing to me…nothing. Not compared to what you mean to me. You’re everything, Amelia. I can’t breathe without you. And the thought of you being with Damien—”

His voice cracked. His fists tightened at his sides.

Amelia stared at him, breath unsteady, her heartbeat thundering against her ribs. Her wolf surged, pressing against her skin, hot and desperate. Her thighs tightened, her core slickening against her will, her pupils dilating. But she forced it all down…pushed every instinct deep into the pit of her stomach.

“No.” His voice dropped into a deeper, heavier tone. “You’re not like us. You’re not like any of us.” He swallowed hard. “You’re different. You are the True Alpha.”

Amelia blinked, stunned. “What? Aiden, if this is another trick to keep me here, stop. What the hell is a True Alpha?”

Aiden didn’t answer.

Instead, he began unbuttoning his shirt. Slowly. Silently.

He pulled the fabric aside, revealing the wound carved across his chest…dark blood pulsing from it, golden mist seeping out in a slow, eerie glow. Corrupted veins spread around the injury like black lightning.

Amelia’s breath caught in her throat.

“Aiden…” she whispered. Shock widened her eyes. Her stomach twisted painfully. She could practically feel the injury burning him.

“What happened?” she breathed. “Who did this to you?”

“You,” he whispered.

Her lips parted. “What?”

Aiden looked at her…tired, scared, in love, and broken all at once.

“You did this.”
