My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart (Oriana) novel Chapter 118

**TITLE: He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen 118**
**CONTENT: Chapter 118 Secrets Unveiled**

In the midst of the bustling room, one figure stood out, exuding an air of confidence that was hard to ignore. With a self-assured smirk plastered across his face, Jett seemed to embody the essence of someone who knew more than he let on.

“Hey, Jeu!” he called out, his voice cutting through the chatter. “You’re usually the one with your ear to the ground. Why the sudden calm? You’ve got to know something about Micah’s phone call, right? Who’s he talking to?”

Micah, seated at the center of the room, radiated an indifference that was as well-known as his genius. It was a trait that everyone had come to recognize.

Big problems, minor issues—it made little difference to him. In fact, if the entire center erupted into chaos, it was likely that Micah would remain unfazed, as if nothing could rattle his composure.

Yet, in that very moment, those present had witnessed a flicker of emotion cross his face, a shift that was unmistakably influenced by the person on the other end of the line.

Something significant was certainly afoot.

Among them, Jett basked in the knowledge he held, feeling a swell of pride and satisfaction.

“Oh, I know exactly who it is,” he declared, his tone teasing. “I’ve even seen the person Micah’s been chatting with—up close and personal.”

“No way, Jett! You’ve been keeping this a secret?”

“Come on, spill the beans! Who is it? Is Micah actually in love?”

Jett enjoyed the suspense, relishing the attention as he toyed with them before finally dropping the bombshell.

“Micah’s married, folks. The only person who could make him care this much? His wife, obviously.”

“What?! He’s married? We had no clue!”

“Honestly, it makes sense. Outside of work, none of us really interact with him.”

“Years back, our boss asked me to set him up with someone. My wife nearly bit my head off—she claimed Micah was like a god, too frigid to ever fall for anyone. Who would have thought he’d find a wife on his own?”

“I knew it! He used to have the R&D and chip teams working around the clock. Recently, he’s been more relaxed. Now we understand why—he’s got a family to think about.”

“Wait, Jett, you actually saw her? You’ve seen Micah’s wife?”

Their eyes were glued to Jett, anticipation hanging thick in the air as they awaited the next tantalizing tidbit.

Jett scoffed, a dismissive wave of his hand. “Yeah, I saw her—like, from a good two hundred feet away. I dropped Micah off at his place, and there she was, waiting for him inside.”

“What’s with those skeptical looks? You think I’m making this up? Hmph! Go ahead and try to get closer if you’re so curious!”

Jett looked down his nose at them, his expression one of superiority.

Micah had once mentioned that his wife didn’t share his interests. With a bunch of research-obsessed nerds? She’d probably make a hasty exit after just five minutes of conversation.

So, it was clear that Jett was the ultimate source for all the gossip.

They simply couldn’t muster the courage.

Micah, unfazed by their palpable curiosity, returned to reviewing the project updates, his expression unreadable.

Once the strategy meeting concluded, he calmly brushed aside their unspoken questions and ended the video call with a crisp finality.

At that moment, Kieran, who had been waiting just outside, knocked gently before stepping into the room.

“Sir,” he addressed Micah, his tone respectful yet urgent.

Micah rubbed the bridge of his nose, fatigue evident in his demeanor. “Did you manage to take care of what I asked?”

“Yes, we reached out to Arthur Pendragon’s mentor—the founder of Refe. He’s retired in Norway but has agreed to come out of retirement to reopen the restaurant. The acquisition of the property is also progressing swiftly. Everything should fall into place soon.”

“Good. I appreciate your efforts,” Micah replied, tapping his fingers rhythmically on the table, his dark, thoughtful eyes hidden behind his glasses, lost in contemplation. “She mentioned she has something important to tell me tonight. What could it possibly be?”

“That… I wouldn’t know,” Kieran admitted, trying to sift through his memories. “Lately, Madam has been focused on her studies. Nothing out of the ordinary has occurred… except for that night in the rain when Luna and Grant publicly declared their relationship in front of her. But surely that wouldn’t upset her too much…”

As he spoke, Kieran felt an unsettling chill envelop him.

He quickly glanced up and found a storm brewing in Micah’s eyes, a tension that made him swallow hard. Almost biting his tongue in anxiety, Kieran hurriedly added, “You showed up like a hero that night. Perhaps Madam is feeling grateful and just wants to express her appreciation for everything you’ve done lately.”
