My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart (Oriana) novel Chapter 184

**TITLE: He Returned to Break and Own Me and for His Queen 184**

**Chapter 184 Flustered**

Luna quickly forced a friendly, conciliatory smile onto her face, masking the simmering tension beneath. “Nyla, I genuinely care about your well-being. After all, you and Mr. Harris have had your share of disagreements in the past, and now, with both of you vying for those coveted graduate spots, I can’t help but worry that you might end up on the losing side.”

With that, she took a step closer, linking her arm with Nyla’s in a show of false camaraderie. “No matter what happens, we’re in this together as friends. I would never want to see you miss out on an opportunity.”

However, Nyla swiftly withdrew her arm, her tone icy and unyielding. “Spare me your concern. You should really be focusing on honing your medical skills. You can’t even handle a simple dislocation—how Cormac thought you were worthy of being his student is a mystery to me.”

Luna felt a jolt of shock at Nyla’s words, her heart racing with a mix of anger and disbelief.

Damn it—how long had it been since that dislocation incident, and Nyla still couldn’t let it go?

And how dare she criticize her? Nyla had been completely useless herself, having her arm broken for no good reason, and had even threatened Oriana, who, in the end, had emerged unscathed!

Today had presented the perfect opportunity to put Oriana in her place, to crush her confidence right in front of the experts, and yet here was Nyla, turning her back and dismissing her entirely.

Luna’s temper flared; she couldn’t believe Nyla was so blind to her own faults. Storming away, she fumed, refusing to accept that she was powerless against Oriana.

Later that afternoon, as the workday wound down, Oriana had intended to reach out to Micah, but her plans took an unexpected turn when a message from Zachary lit up her screen.

“Dr. Sterling,” Zachary wrote, “my father and the others will be back in just a couple of days. Now that he has your contact information, he insists on meeting you as soon as possible. Would this weekend work for you?”

Oriana quickly glanced at her schedule, her mind racing. “Probably next week. I’m on duty this weekend,” she replied, hoping that would suffice.

Zachary’s response came almost immediately. “Got it! I’ll arrange everything according to your availability.”

Feeling a bit overwhelmed, Oriana sent a quick acknowledgment before switching gears and leaving a voice message for Micah.

To her delight, he answered right away.

“Off work?” His warm, gentle voice flowed through the speaker, wrapping around her like a comforting blanket.

“Yes, I finished two hours early today. Should I just wait for you at home?” she asked, a hint of excitement in her voice.

“I’m in the parking lot. Just hold on; Kieran’s driving over now.”

Oriana raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. “How did you know I’d finish early?”

“Maybe we’re just in sync,” he replied with a nonchalant smile she could almost hear.

Her heart fluttered at his words, and she teased back, “Micah, stop joking!”

He chuckled softly, the sound warm and inviting. “Actually, I went back to the estate this afternoon. On my way out, I swung by the hospital to wait for you. Just got here.”

“Is everything alright with Mr. Caldwell?” she asked, concern creeping into her tone.

Grant hadn’t reached out at all, and Luna had been distracted several times throughout the afternoon, each time receiving sharp reprimands from Cormac.

“That’s good,” Micah nodded, his expression softening. “You’ve had a long day. Let me give you a massage.”

He rolled up his sleeves with deliberate ease, and Oriana felt a thrill run through her. She knew he had learned a few techniques from a massage master at the estate and obediently leaned closer, eager for his touch.

Kieran, ever the professional, silently raised the partition between them.

Micah remained unfazed, his mental fortitude impressive as he focused on her.

Kieran recalled a moment when he had asked Micah whether Grant could expose his secret—Micah’s calm and controlled confidence had been unwavering.

“He has no evidence. His word alone is worthless. Besides, he has enough on his plate right now.”

At The Alston Grand, Oriana and Micah stepped into the private room, immediately enveloped by the lively chatter that filled the air.

The most prominent voice, one she recognized from the previous night, was that of Yael.

“This is a jackpot! Mr. Holloway and Mr. Caldwell from the research center—big shots are lining up to collaborate with our hospital! Mr. Dixon, Mr. Ward, this partnership is a guaranteed win!”

Phoenix’s hearty laughter echoed through the room. “Absolutely! The legendary Mr. Caldwell, who rarely makes public appearances, personally hosted us. Doesn’t that show just how much he values this collaboration?”
