My Reborn Admirer Wins Over My Heart (Oriana) novel Chapter 202

**Chapter 202: Worries**

Oriana shook her head in exasperation, her heart heavy with the weight of Micah’s concerns. “Don’t worry about it. I’m not going to tackle this alone. I’ll have Zara come along with me. You’re okay with Zara, right?”

Micah’s brow knitted together in a deeper frown, the tension palpable in the air around them.

A flicker of annoyance colored his voice, laced with an undercurrent of unspoken resentment. “You’d rather inconvenience Zara than me?”

Oriana froze momentarily, taken aback by his unexpected response.

Was that a hint of jealousy she detected in his tone?

Could it be that he felt threatened by Zara?

A soft, helpless laugh escaped her lips, and she decided to be candid. “It’s not a burden for Zara at all. She just happens to be at Seabar. Plus, she’s been quite the admirer of Kai’s looks. This time, Luna has even invited Kai personally to the gathering to sign autographs for everyone. It’s such a fantastic opportunity—there’s no way I’d leave Zara out of it, right?”

“Kai?” Micah’s expression flickered for a brief moment, curiosity mingling with something darker.

“Yes, yes. Not sure if you’ve heard of him, but he was an incredibly popular male idol a few years back and has since made a successful transition into acting. He’s built quite a solid reputation for himself.”

“Yes, I’ve heard of him,” Micah replied, his voice steady yet distant.

The name was certainly not foreign to him.

In a different life, Kai had been close to Leo and the others, offering his support to Luna in various ways.

If his memory served him right, Kai would soon star in an aviation-themed blockbuster, achieving overnight fame and ultimately becoming the youngest actor in China to lead a film that grossed five billion at the box office, propelling his career to unimaginable heights.

Luna, always adept at leveraging connections, had used Kai’s popularity to elevate her own status, transforming into a widely recognized social media doctor, her fame often overshadowing her actual abilities.

Micah, lost in contemplation, had nearly forgotten about Kai in recent times.

Murmuring softly to himself, his tone dipped into a shadowy realm. “Arthur, Ethan, and Kai? How is it that all of them seem to gravitate so closely to Luna? Their relationships appear unusually intimate—could there be something more beneath the surface?”

“I don’t know,” Oriana replied, her voice steady but laced with uncertainty. “But Luna has always excelled at building social connections. If she hadn’t, she wouldn’t have been able to help Grant attract so many investors and partnerships.”

Micah snorted softly, skepticism evident in his demeanor. “From the way she behaves, she hardly comes off as someone with exceptional social skills.”

Oriana glanced at him, a frown creasing her brow. “You mean—”

Micah’s voice dropped to a near whisper. “For an adult man and woman to be that close, there aren’t many plausible explanations.”

He didn’t need to finish his thought; the insinuation hung heavily in the air between them.

Straightening her posture, Oriana spoke with conviction. “Micah, you can’t say that. Even though I don’t particularly care for Luna, without concrete evidence, you can’t judge a woman’s integrity based solely on mere speculation.”

“I can’t speak for anyone else, but I can see that Leo has a sibling-like affection for Luna. His concern for her is similar to yours, Micah—always respectful, never crossing boundaries, yet deeply considerate. Ethan and the others likely share that sentiment. Perhaps they simply connect on a genuine level.”

To harbor hatred was one thing; to slander someone was entirely another.

“Yes, sir,” Kieran replied promptly, his fingers dancing over the screen of his device.

Oriana was taken aback. “Y-you’re coming to Seabar with me? Micah, you can’t be so impulsive!”

The more anxious she appeared about his decision to follow her, the more resentment bubbled within him.

“I’m not boarding the flight. I’ll just get a ticket, stay with you until you board, and then leave,” he clarified, his determination unwavering.

Oriana frowned immediately, pinching his solid arm as a warning. “Useless! And you’re taking up someone else’s seat. What if someone else needs business class?”

A slight headache began to throb at her temples.

Since when had Micah become so domineering?

And was it just her imagination, or did his arm muscles seem a bit more pronounced?

The pinch sent a jolt of discomfort through her hand.

Micah inhaled deeply, turning to Kieran with a resolute expression. “Get the emptiest flight available. Don’t inconvenience anyone else.”

Kieran continued scrolling through flights, his focus unwavering. “Understood, Mr. Caldwell.”

Then he turned back to Oriana, every line of his face resolute. “No matter how angry you are with me later, I’ll accept it. But right now, I just want to be with you. I don’t want to waste a single second away from you.”
