After delivering this final blow, Bramwell was too ashamed to remain. He rose abruptly and stormed out without looking back.
Evelyn covered her face, her expression a mixture of shock and heartbreak, though humiliation dominated her features. “Luna, how… how could you be so foolish? Even if you hadn’t won any awards, we would never have blamed you!”
With this pained lament, she hurried after Bramwell.
Owen watched his sister being exposed, a flicker of shock in his eyes. His fists clenched tightly, but he offered no words of support, eventually following his parents out when Bramwell called for him.
Grant remained seated, motionless.
He likely felt she had thoroughly embarrassed him too.
Luna covered her face, almost laughing out loud!
Every single one of them acts so self–righteous and high–minded, but behind the scenes, their jealousy of William, their disgust for Oriana, is no less than mine!
I just did what they didn’t dare to do. What right do they have to stand on their moral high ground and blame me?
I should have been the most dazzling one today. I should be accepting everyone’s congratulations, celebrating my ranking with my professor and family right now.
But instead, everything changed.
Everything went in the worst possible direction!
And the root cause of all this is Oriana!
If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t be despised and abandoned by all!
Luna snapped her head up, her gaze wishing she could devour Oriana alive-
That bitch!
She had the original draft all along. If she had produced it from the start, she could have condemned me completely.
But that bitch refused!
Step by step, she laid bait, luring her in, making her think she had no solid evidence, making her let her guard down again and again.
Until the very end, she delivered the crushing blow, making everyone watch her clumsy performance she thought was flawless, making her climb from the bottom back to the top, only to crash down heavily, despised by all!

What a vicious bitch!
“Oriana! You must be so happy to see me like this now!”
Oriana looked at the overwhelming shock and fury in Luna’s eyes, her lips curling in a mocking smile.
She looked at her with pity, watching her ugly, hysterical, frantic state.
“Luna, I gave you chances. You were the one who was greedy, who kept pushing for more, who didn’t cherish them.
“You say I harmed you? Hah. Luna, the one who harmed you is yourself.”
“Ah! You bitch, you ruined me-”
“Enough! Aren’t you ashamed enough already?”
Grant finally couldn’t stand it any longer. He grabbed the woman who was about to charge at Oriana and coldly scolded her.
Luna’s gaze shook as she looked up. “Grant? You’re taking her side too?”
Grant avoided her eyes. “I’m siding with reason, not favoritism. Luna, this time, you really went too far.”
He paused, gave Oriana a deep look, then firmly gripped Luna’s arm. “Luna, I’ll take you back. Let’s calm down.
“I’ll stay with you. Don’t be afraid.”
Luna’s anger, upon hearing this reassurance from the man she loved, instantly died down.
She seemed pleasantly surprised, murmuring softly, “Grant… you still love me?”
Grant gently led her out. “Don’t talk nonsense. Let’s go.”
“Okay, I’ll go with you.”
Luna leaned against him, letting him lead her away.
As long as she had Grant, she could give up everything else…
The farce finally ended. Everyone sighed, then turned to congratulate Oriana,
Cormac was disheartened, but knew he had to take responsibility. He acknowledged his oversight as a
mentor.
Leo, looking crestfallen, walked up to Oriana with a very complicated smile. “Congratulations. Looking forward to working with you.”
He paused, then added, “I’m sorry. I failed to supervise Luna properly and almost hurt you.”

Oriana looked at him calmly and suddenly asked, “Why did you protect Luna? Was it for some… special reason?”
Leo didn’t want to bring up the matter of their benefactor.
Luna’s look just now made him feel, from the bottom of his heart, that she had tarnished their benefactor’s name and family reputation.
He found it hard to believe that such good, kind, and genuine people as their benefactor and his wife could have raised such a foster daughter.
A bitter smile appeared on Leo’s face, unwilling to say more.
Oriana raised a brow but didn’t press him, saying nothing further.
Willow, Violet, and the others who were close to Luna were now so embarrassed they wished they could find a hole to hide in.
Seeing everyone flocking to congratulate Oriana, they watched longingly for a moment, then quickly slipped away before anyone noticed.
It was all Luna’s fault! She played them for fools and got them into this mess!
Yael came over with others to congratulate Oriana, smiling and suggesting they hold a celebration banquet.
Oriana politely declined. She didn’t like such high–profile events. Even back when the Sterling family held parties, she never liked making a showy appearance, which had led Bramwell and Evelyn to criticize her a few times for not being grand enough.
