During the drive, Kieran kept looking over his shoulder to brief her. “When we arrive, a few people from the research center will meet you and take you inside. I’ll need to hurry back to track down Mr. Caldwell. Your seat’s in the guest area–slightly off to the side, but it’s move in and out. If you have to leave for the restroom or anything, it won’t be an issue.”
Oriana immediately recognized this as Micah’s special arrangement.
She smiled warmly. “Alright, thank you.”
As Kieran’s car pulled up to the main entrance, Oriana got out.
A young girl in jeans and a white shirt came running over. “Oriana! Hi!”

“You’re dressed so lightly,” Oriana said, blinking as she recognized her. “We met on Valentine’s Day, right?”
“Just call me Valka, Oriana. I’m not cold–the heating inside is great. My boyfriend works under Mr. Caldwell, and he really admires him. Today I’m volunteering, and he made me promise to take good care of you.”
“Thanks, Valka. I really appreciate it today.”
“No problem, Oriana. Follow me—I’ll get you through security. It’s pretty crowded, so I’ll take you through the staff entrance.”
Oriana nodded and followed Valka, weaving through the crowd toward a less congested part of the line.
Just as they passed through, someone called her name.
“Oriana? What are you doing here?”
Oriana paused, turned slightly, and saw Bramwell, Evelyn, and Owen, all dressed sharply, patiently waiting in line for security.
Owen had been the one to call out.
How were they here?
Oriana only registered surprise for a moment before realizing the reason–Grant.
She’d come across several reports about the summit lately. Grant’s studio had been in the

spotlight, preparing to reveal a confidential humanoid robot project said to revolutionize the industry.
An event like this–how could the Sterling family not be involved?
“Do you guys know each other?” Valka asked politely.
Oriana was about to answer when Bramwell, clearly annoyed, cut in, then snapped at Owen. “Why did you call her? Didn’t I tell you before? We need to keep our distance from her!”
Owen just moved his lips but didn’t respond.
Valka frowned at Bramwell’s tone. “Wait, how can you talk like that—”
“It’s fine. We really don’t know them. Come on, Valka.”
“Alright. Good, you don’t know them. I was going to take them through the staff entrance too, but now they’ll just have to bake in the sun!”
Oriana glanced at them briefly, expression calm, then turned and left without another word.
Watching Oriana slip through the quiet side entrance, Bramwell ground his teeth in frustration.
Evelyn rose early, carefully doing her makeup and dressing to perfection. The sun was bright, but the lingering spring chill still bit at her skin. No layer of foundation could fend off the cold, and she feared her makeup might crack or smudge.
Seeing Oriana walk in effortlessly, she complained to Bramwell, “Why did you even yell at her? If you’d just admitted you knew her, we wouldn’t have had to wait in line!”
“That ungrateful brat doesn’t deserve recognition. You think knowing her would have gotten you in? Don’t turn around and let her mock you later!”
Suddenly, Owen called out toward another cluster of people. “Luna and Grant are over there!”
Bramwell and Evelyn quickly turned to look.
Luna and Grant were walking in from the parking lot on the other side, surrounded by a group of sharply dressed young men.

They followed Grant, their admiration and respect visible in every gesture, peppering him with questions about the plans he had teased last year and what surprises he would reveal
today.

“Mr. Holloway, last year you mentioned integrating the Aurora cognitive model to create a humanoid robot with 24 joints and maximum freedom. Will it debut today?”
“The top–tier robots out there still max out at eighteen joints. It’s been months since anyone’s managed to push past that. Once Mr. Holloway’s project drops, it’s going to turn the whole industry upside down!”
“And that’s not all–there are tons of foreign media here today, all waiting for the strongest robot. The whole world will feel the impact!”
Someone in the crowd gasped. “Wow! Mr. Holloway’s team is about to become the world’s top AI developers!”
“Last year, Aurora already impressed the foreigners. This is Mr. Holloway’s basic skill, just calm about it.”
“He’s incredible. Mr. Holloway is like a real–life hexagonal super robot–brains, talent, looks, and is in love with Ms. Sterling. Nationwide, you can’t find a man this outstanding!”
“Today’s event also has leaders from various countries. Mr. Holloway is going to steal the spotlight and amaze everyone!”
“Yes, and I’ve heard some retired leaders are attending quietly, probably here for Mr. Holloway’s new product. This is a milestone in national AI development–they wouldn’t want to miss it!”
