Tiffany pulled her aside. "I've been discussing a private event for a wealthy client. She wants something innovative and exciting, but it can't be vulgar. I've revised the proposal seven times, and she's still not satisfied."
Seraphina looked at the closed door. "And this isn't vulgar?"
Tiffany grimaced. "I thought it was pushing the boundary too, which is why I wanted you to take a look. After all, you're a wealthy woman now."
Lucian tapped the armrest. "Ms. Taylor."
Tiffany snapped to attention. "Yes, Mr. Langford?"
"You asked my wife to come to a bar to look at a room full of men dressed like that, for work?"
Tiffany opened and closed her mouth. "Mr. Langford, the way you phrase it makes it highly unlikely I'll make it out of here alive."
Jules stifled a laugh. "Lucian, stop scaring her. She's about to have a heart attack."
Tiffany glared at him. "Jules, would it kill you not to kick me when I'm down?"
Seraphina rubbed her temples. "Tiffany, answer him first."
Tiffany turned to Lucian, her posture respectful. "Mr. Langford, I swear on my professional ethics that I had no bad intentions toward Sera. I merely wanted her to provide some advice from a female client's perspective."
Lucian looked at Seraphina. "Did you give it?"
Seraphina's eyes crinkled in amusement. "I did."
Tiffany grabbed her arm. "What did you decide?"
Seraphina pointed at the door. "This segment? Cancel it completely."
Tiffany's face fell. "That blunt?"
"Just because a client wants excitement doesn't mean they want to be treated like desperate fools who've never seen a man before."
Tiffany immediately whipped out her phone. "Keep going."
Seraphina looked at her. "High-end private events are about atmosphere, service, and making the client feel respected. It's not about yelling 'Your Majesty' and shoving them into a room full of muscle-bound guys."
Jules chimed in, "She's absolutely right. That welcome line was so tacky it made me want to call the police."
Tiffany gritted her teeth. "Shut up."
Lucian added, "Jules is right."
Jules puffed out his chest. "You hear that? Lucian agrees with me."
Lucian didn't look at him. "But you shut up too."
