When Mia saw Noelle's message, she realized she hadn't thought about it yet. So, she replied, "I've never thought about getting married yet, but he's probably the one for me."

She didn't receive a lot of love when she was younger, and her relationship with her parents was nothing special. Her father even had an affair and a son outside. She didn't know if he felt bad for her later on when he left her all of his assets, but she still didn't live a good life after that.

On the other hand, things were different for her when it came to Eugene.

Mia didn't ask Noelle the same question because Cedric still hadn't woken up. Although it seemed like Noelle was fine, Mia knew she was hiding her feelings.

Soon, they pulled up at the party. Noelle looked out the window and saw numerous luxurious cars outside. There were even celebrities present, which highlighted the grandeur of the party. It seemed to them that Ivy was really going all out with the event.

Unfortunately for Ivy, the grander the party was, the more devastating her fate would be. At that moment, their battle had started.

Noelle and Mia got out of the car together. Eugene was wearing a white shirt, which didn't match their outfit. Even though he was walking behind them, he didn't attract anyone's attention at all, even when he had his shades on.

When Noelle and Mia arrived at the entrance, Laura approached them in a white dress, looking incredibly pure. When she saw Noelle, she couldn't hide the pleased look on her face at all.

Then, she said with a faint smile, "Oh, what brings you two here? Are you two having regrets now and wish to join our investment? Unfortunately, our slots are full, and we're not accepting new investors now."

Even though Noelle expected Laura to be arrogant, she didn't expect the latter to be that cocky at all. Meanwhile, Mia calmly said, "But we never planned on investing."
