"That's because the Liddell family developed too slowly! Do you think investigating the truth and dealing with powerful families is easy?" Donovan gritted his teeth. "If you don't do as I say today, you'll never know who was sitting in the back of that car."

Noelle argued, "But the Merlocks weren't even in Aldoria that day. You're lying. You never found anything."

Donovan's expression darkened. "How do you know that?"

This brat had actually uncovered that information! Noelle looked indifferent. "That's none of your business."

Just then, Xenia skipped over and whined, "Donovan, what are you and Noelle chatting about? The exhibition was about to start, and I saw a few reporters arriving. Shouldn't we get ready?"

Donovan shot Noelle a final look. "Fine. Let's see who finds out the truth first!"

Watching Donovan and Xenia walk away, Noelle could hardly wait for that day to arrive. Just then, their team leader approached her.
