No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 716

Frank explained, "Lucas said that he'd stay behind to take care of Blake, so I came back by myself."

What really happened was that Lucas was worried about Donovan being deceived by Xenia with how much was going on back home.

It was why he urged Frank to return home quickly.

Noelle was not surprised, as Frank had always been playing the role of peacemaker in the family.

She replied coldly, "Perfect timing. This villa already belongs to me. It's my house now. I won't allow anyone to renovate it without my permission!"

Wyatt was furious. "Noelle, Donovan was forced to do this all because of you! How could you say that the house belongs to you?"

She stood her ground. "Because my name is on the deed to the house. I'll have to call the police if you want to escalate things further. If that happens, you'll still be kicked out in the end."

Frank frowned and said, "That's enough, you two. Since the villa belongs to Noelle, it's only right that she decides if the renovation is allowed or not."

Wyatt replied, "Why are you so biased toward her, Frank? I didn't believe Xenia when she told me this, but now I do."

"Wyatt, if I took your side instead and let you proceed with the renovation, I would be considered biased toward you then."

Wyatt retorted confidently, "But Xenia and I are getting married! It only makes sense for you to be biased toward us!"

"I think you've lost your mind, Wyatt. I'm not trying to take anyone's side. Whoever owns the house will get to decide on what happens to the house."

Frank felt extremely disappointed by Wyatt's behavior. He recalled that Wyatt had always been a very selfish person ever since they were young.

Just then, Xenia finally showed herself after noticing that Wyatt was at his wit's end.

She stood beside Wyatt and spoke up pitifully. "Frank, I renovated the house with the Liddell family in mind. The AI project attracted plenty of investment recently, and many more investors are trying to reach out to Donovan.

"I thought that our wedding would be a good chance to invite them all over and help strengthen the connections with potential investors."

Frank frowned slightly. "Has Donovan already transferred the money?"

Xenia was pleased as her plan was nearing completion. "The first payment has already gone through."

Frank was the one who came up with the project, and even though Donovan was the one managing it later on, Frank knew the truth about the project better than anyone else.

Meanwhile, Noelle realized from Xenia's words that the first payment had really gone through.

She deliberately set down her Hermes bag worth hundreds of thousands of dollars beside her with arrogance and said, "Change the curtains back to the way they were, or you're all getting out of here!"

She would not put up with their crap any longer.

Xenia spoke up pitifully. "Noelle, I understand that you don't want a renovation, but this is for my wedding! I—"

"You get lost as well!"

Xenia burst into tears once more, and Wyatt sped over in his wheelchair. Noelle, don't you know that the president of PZ Group will be at the wedding too?"

Noelle's hands froze up for a moment.

She had been having trouble locating any clues about the person in charge of PZ Group.
