No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 722

Xenia's screams soon came from the second floor. "Noelle, what are you doing?! Are you crazy?"

Noelle was holding onto a pile of items in her hands, including jewelries, before tossing them all out of the window.

Xenia watched in anguish. "Noelle, do you have any idea how expensive they are? You better pay me back for this!"

Noelle raised her hand and slapped Xenia across the face. "This was Mom and Dad's room! Nobody dared to touch it for so many years, so who the hell do you think you are to use it as your own fucking room?!"

She was furious enough to actually kill Xenia right then and there.

She had just gone upstairs when she saw a housekeeper coming out of her parents' room. She felt that something was wrong as she knew that Donovan would never agree to this.

To Noelle's surprise, she opened the door to find the entire room renovated, with a wedding dress neatly hanging inside. One look at the room was enough to enrage Noelle, making her destroy everything.

She picked up a pair of scissors and tore the wedding dress into shreds.

Xenia's eyes turned bloodshot. "That was my custom-made wedding dress! Can you even afford to replace it?!"

Noelle shoved Xenia aside and threw the wedding dress downstairs as well.

Anyone who tried to stop her would be given a kick from her. Thanks to her training, Noelle's physical abilities had improved a lot.

Frank heard the commotion and rushed over. When he saw the wrecked room, he shouted, "Stop it, both of you! Are you trying to tear the house down?!"

Xenia was both furious and heartbroken. "Frank, do you see this?! Noelle threw away all my stuff and even ruined my wedding dress!"

They were all luxury goods that she had carefully prepared. Even though the marriage would not last for long, the jewelry and luxury items were still her belongings.

Frank turned to Noelle and said, "I understand why you're angry, but couldn't you have just talked about it first? Tomorrow's the wedding already, and there are so many guests that's going to show up!"

Noelle scoffed, "So you know why I'm angry, huh? Then, are all of you fucking blind or something?! Don't you know whose room this was?"

Frank hesitated for a moment before replying. "I talked to Donovan about it, but he told me that the dead can no longer come back to us and that the room was only being used temporarily for the wedding, as it was the only room big enough to do so."

Noelle was the only person who felt betrayed. She felt as if she had been stabbed in the back so deeply that the pain became unbearable.

Frank was speechless when he saw the look on her face. He eventually whispered, "It was my fault. I couldn't stop Donovan. I didn't think you'd be this upset."

Noelle just sat there in a daze and said nothing. Frank did not know how to console her, so he just stayed in the room with her. Suddenly, the bedroom door was kicked open with a loud bang.

Donovan stormed inside and roared, "Noelle, do you think that you can do whatever you want back home just because you've latched yourself onto the Greene family?!"

"Donovan, Noelle is angry for Mom and Dad's sake," Frank explained.

Donovan snorted and replied, "She's the one who killed Mom and Dad! What gives her the right to be angry for their sake?!"

Noelle slowly rose to her feet, her voice low and eerie. "I had a dream last night about the car accident on that fateful night. I've even remembered what the person who saved me looked like."

She turned to look at Xenia, her gaze completely pitch black.
