No Sex for Six Years Because of Her? I'm Done novel Chapter 166

Chapter 166 Interrupted Murder

With that thought, Hannah no longer hesitated.

A ruthless light filled her eyes.

She scanned the dim hall quickly. Her gaze landed on a porcelain vase by the entryway.

That was it.

+5 Pearls.

She reached out, lifted the heavy vase into her arms, and turned, step by step, toward Amelia lying in the pool of blood.

Soon, she stood over her.

Moonlight outlined Amelia’s pale profile. The delicate face that once drove Hannah mad with jealousy now looked fragile and defenseless.

A cruel smile curled at Hannah’s lips.

Die, Amelia.

The position of Mrs. Rowe can only belong to me.

Using all her strength, Hannah raised the porcelain vase high above Amelia’s head.

Once it came downeverything would be over.

But just as her arm tensed to the limit, ready to strike, a sharp sound tore through the night.

Screech!

A sudden, piercing brake sound came from outside the villa.

Two bright beams of headlights cut through the darkness.

Hannah froze midair.

She was terrified. Her heart nearly leapt out of her throat.

Was it Ethan back already?

Fear slammed into her.

Her hand went weak. The heavy vase dropped to the floor with a dull thud, cushioned by the thick carpet.

She did not think twice. She rushed behind the heavy velvet curtains, clamped a hand over her mouth, and held her breath.

A car door opened and slammed shut.

Then came hurried, heavy footsteps running toward the entrance.

Hannah’s heart rose to her throat. Peeking through a gap in the curtain, she stared at the doorway.

Bright lights flooded the hall.

But the man standing there was not Ethan.

It was Mason. Tall. Rigid. His face was dark with fury.

Why was he here?

Hannah’s pupils shrank. Before she could figure it out, Mason saw the scene in the living room and froze.

His eyes locked on the shocking pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs. The color drained from his face at

once.

Amelia!

Mason rushed forward.

Amelia, wake up. Look at me.His hands trembled as he checked her breathing.

When he felt the faint trace of air, the shattered look in his eyes eased slightly.

He pulled out his phone and called emergency services.

This is the Rowe residence. Yes. Someone fell down the stairs. Head injury, heavy bleeding, unconscious.

After hanging up, Mason scanned the room, alert, trying to find who had hurt her.

Behind the curtain, Hannah watched everything. Cold sweat soaked her back. She was terrified Mason would notice her and drag her out on the spot.

Luckily, she had hidden in time.

Minutes later, the ambulance siren grew louder.

Medical staff rushed in with a stretcher. They gave Amella quick first aid and lifted her onto it.

Mason stayed close the entire time. He took off his coat and covered her thin body, his reddened eyes never leaving her pale face.

Soon, the ambulance sped away, Mason’s car following right behind.

The chaos came fast and ended just as fast.

The huge hall fell back into deadly silence.

Only the bloodstains on the floor remained, slowly darkening.

After a long while, Hannah finally stepped out from behind the curtain.

She clutched her racing chest and gasped for air, her legs so weak she could barely stand.
