No Sex for Six Years Because of Her? I’m Done!
Chapter 574 Feeding
:
“Perfect, we have enough people!” Nora clapped her hands and pulled the table closer.
Everyone quickly gathered around and began playing. The mood was lively and fun.
Fristed
Meanwhile, Kaia’s parents took Zach and Hayden out for a walk around the village, enjoying the rare warm winter sunshine.
As Nora shuffled the cards, she announced the rules first. “Let’s make one thing clear. We’re playing fair. No feeding cards to anyone!”
Her tone sounded playful, but her eyes secretly glanced at Mason. It was clear she was worried he might go easy on Amelia.
Amelia felt a little embarrassed and quickly defended herself in a soft voice. “How could he even do that? I barely know how to play!”
She was telling the truth. She wasn’t very good at this kind of game. In the past, she had only played a few times with the Rowes, and she had lost far more often than she won.
Kaia also smiled and joined the conversation. “That’s right, Mrs. Everett. I haven’t played in years. I was terrible even back then, so I’m probably even worse now.”
While speaking, she couldn’t help glancing at Evan, who was sitting not far away. But Evan was looking down at the book in his hands and didn’t seem to be paying attention to the game.
At first, Nora thought the two women were just being modest. After all, beginners sometimes got lucky and beat experienced players.
But the truth quickly proved that Amelia and Kaia weren’t being modest at all. They really didn’t know how to play.
As soon as the game began, Amelia made mistake after mistake. She kept throwing out important cards without thinking.
Mason sat across from her. He watched helplessly as she held a great hand of cards but somehow managed to ruin it herself.
Even though Mason tried his best to “help” her, Amelia still couldn’t beat Nora.
Nora’s cheerful laughter rang out again and again, while Amelia stared at the small pile of chips in front of her with a confused look.
“Oh, Amelia, are you losing on purpose just to make me happy?” Nora asked with a laugh when Amelia once again lost almost all her chips.

Amelia waved her hand generously. “It’s fine! I’m happy even if I lose to you!”
But Amelia wasn’t completely hopeless.
She actually had pretty good luck sometimes. Every now and then she would draw a great hand. Just when Nora thought she was about to win again, Amelia suddenly turned things around and won back all the chips she had lost earlier.
Kaia, however, had a much harder time.
Her skills were already weak, and her luck today was terrible. The cards she drew were always bad.
Unlike Amelia, who stayed cheerful, Kaia remained calm on the outside even though she felt anxious inside.
After a long while, she finally drew a hand that looked pretty good. She was close to winning.
But she couldn’t figure out which card she should play to win faster.
Just then, Evan, who had been sitting quietly in the corner of the living room reading a book, suddenly cleared his throat.
He didn’t even lower the book in his hands. He simply glanced at the table from the corner of his eye.
“Kaia,” his clear voice sounded through the room, “four of diamonds.”
Kaia froze slightly.
She turned her head and looked at Evan in surprise.
She didn’t understand why that was the right card. But for some reason, she trusted his words without thinking.
She held the card between her fingers, hesitated for a moment, and then played it.
The next round hadn’t even finished when Amelia casually played a card. It was exactly the one Kaia needed.
“Yes!” Kaia shouted without thinking and quickly laid down her cards.
Amelia stared at the cards in shock. “Wow!”
Her mouth fell open. Then she turned to Evan and protested playfully. “Evan! Since when did you become outside help?”

Finched
Nora laughed and joined in. “Exactly! Evan, if you start giving advice, how am I supposed to win?”
Only then did Evan close the book in his hands and look at the people around the table.
His voice remained calm. “I’m only watching once in a while. Kaia is our guest. Are you really going to let her lose every round?”
Strangely enough, after Evan started giving Kaia occasional advice, her luck suddenly improved.
A smile slowly appeared on Kaia’s face, and her eyes looked more confident.
She quietly said to him, “Thank you, Evan. I can manage from here.”
