Slade
They all listened to Yuri tell the events of his encounter with Oriana, the shocked expression on her face before she’d attacked him, how she’d been, what she smelled like; that confused all of them.
She smelled human, but still had her wolfen strength. He’d asked about her having a Mark and filigree, and Yuri had shrugged, he didn’t know. That encounter he’d had, had lasted all of two or three seconds, before she’d taken him out. He’d been caught off guard completely.
He then took them all out to that very place he’d encountered her. There was nothing out there, just a couple of lakes and the woods were all, no homes, it was kind of in the middle of nowhere.
They concluded that it being a full moon, China had been out running under it was all, he’d also led them
to the road where he lost her tracks, and she had been heading north, had raced along the river towards the road. Yuri had come from the north but had not scented anything wolfen it out there or here in this town.
None of them picked up anything at all, not even a rouge scent, just humans here in Rockwood. He was standing outside looking at that lake, the cabin was situated on, and the map of it on his phone. This was the largest lake out here and there were many bays and coves, plenty of places one she-wolf could hide and work, to earn a living. Even in winter, this place was a hub of activity with a ski resort not that far away.
He was handed coffee as he sat down. He was researching the area to try and see the best way, or place to start their search. He didn’t even truly know if she was north of where Yuri had found her, she could well have been leading them on a decoy track. She knew how to cover her tracks and get away.
Had hidden herself for years now, and likely also wore dark sunglasses to keep her eyes from being noticed. It was those reports of her eyes that had them tracking her all over the country. Those eyes of hers were why she was a glasses model.
Frustrating, his search was, the woman was a ghost, though he’d now found out that her modelling name was Brianah Summers. Most of her modelling was not done on an annual contract basis and was done job to job. He was hoping that was the name she was using now, not that he’d ever been able to track her by that name.
Brianah Summers, only ever worked once or twice every six months and none of those jobs he now knew were based here in Maine. She did take trips out to those companies to do those shoots, arrived on the day and left on the day, he had been informed; just like all other models.
She had a non-existent agent, and he had not been able to trace that one. She managed to always be paid in cash on the day, and he never found her through those jobs. He was always a month or more behind her.
The last picture he’d seen of her, saw her hair was back to being long and naturally dark brown. When she’d left she had a blonde purple Pixie cut, he’d not really like that on her. Though Lindal had told him she’d hacked it all off, and it had been Lindal that had fixed it.
“Her hair is dark and very long now,” Yuri told him as he sat down next to him and looked out over the lake himself.
“It won’t be for long, I imagine. She will cut it and dye it very quickly, likely today.” Slade murmured.
“It’s likely… Though, she would not have scented any of you with me, so maybe not.”
“I don’t think Ori would believe you’re out here all alone” Slade stated, simply.
“Lindal new, picked it up.” Yuri murmured.
“Mm, But does she know that Lindal knows, and if she thinks Lindal does, would she think her best friend would betray her, like everyone else in that pack… No, is the answer to that question, Yuri.”
Do you think she’s scaly kee thank we are, the setting a horse He shook his text. Tread more information about that e not something live ever heard of or read about if she found a way to do that, it would key se sa fortune to other wolves Especially toge fondles he fought about that and got up to go and assess the Wollen Council head of the, so if so, how was it comes from long would in
That did not help him, he could see the entry log was written by one Alpha Austin of the Wolfen Council Slade sat, and checked that Alpha out himself. He was not only a Wolfen Council member, but he also ran his own pack. A little odd, he thought most council members were relied, and most were several hundred years old. Digging a little deeper, he found that Highs Austin was several hundred years old and, surprising him completely, he was mated to a Kitsune.
He checked that packs detalls and found it wasn’t all that far away. A day’s drive was all He wondered if Alpha Austin would help him out? Was he in his pack right at this minute to answer an sss? Tell him what he needed to know, or would that information still be restricted to the council only.
If that was the case, it was likely one could only obtain it illegally, on the wolfen black market, and it wasn’t released to their world for a very good reason, used by smugglers to help hide those they’d snatched to sell on the black market, in all likelihood.
Slade sat and composed a simple sss to introduce himself and ask the question he wanted an answer to He stated simply that his Delta had come across a she-wolf, but she had scented of being human. He had known she was wolfen because she had attacked his Delta and rendered him unconscious. Stated she’d been found naked in the woods of Maine, and they just wanted to help her. If he knew of a way to track her, they’d appreciate his help on the matter.
