Ophelia Gets Thrown Out (Ophelia) novel Chapter 366

Chapter 366

Chapter 366.

Tristan’s eyes darkened for a moment as he shot Ophelia a subtle look, keeping his feelings well hidden.

Even if it was all about work, Bianca heading straight to Alaric the moment she got back just didn’t sit right with him.

Ophelia, on the other hand, looked totally chill. She couldn’t care less about Bianca’s drama. She was busy whispering with Victoria and giggling every now and then.

Bianca took in every move Tristan made, her eyes growing cold as she watched him.

‘They’re all talking about me and Alaric. It’s just business. What’s it got to do with Ophelia anyway? And Grandpa’s still fussing over her feelings. Seriously, he spoils her way too much, Bianca thought.

“If you sign this endorsement, you’ll be able to stay in the country for a while, right?” Scarlett said, missing her daughter. “If you’re not in a hurry to leave, why not hang out with us and keep Grandpa company?”

Scarlett gave Bianca a meaningful look, hinting that she should try to get on Grandpa’s good side.

Bianca knew that if she wanted her thing with Alaric to go smoothly, she’d need Grandpa’s support.

Bianca smiled warmly. “Yeah, I’ll be around for a while. As long as I don’t have any gigs, I’ll come back and spend time with Grandpa and you guys.”

“That’s wonderful. You’re always so busy, it’s rare for us to have you home,” Scarlett nodded, looking pleased. She could tell Bianca got the hint.

“Alright, everyone’s here. Let’s eat,” Tristan said, waving everyone over to the table and dropping the subject.

‘Looks like I’ll need to keep watching how this plays out, Tristan mused.

“Dad, slow down,” Asher said, gently reaching out to support Tristan.

Tristan shot him a look, but didn’t protest and let Asher help him along.

Lately, Asher’s family had been staying at Rowle Manor and actually behaving themselves. Tristan just wanted a little peace, so he’d stopped being so standoffish toward them.

Soon, everyone took their seats around the dining table.

The table was loaded with food, with something to please everyone’s palate.

“Dad, try this,” Asher said, reaching over to put some food on Tristan’s plate.

“I can manage myself. You treat yourself too,” Tristan waved him off, then turned his attention to Ophelia and struck up a conversation with her.

While everyone was eating and chatting, Tristan soon announced he was full

Ophelia frowned, a little puzzled. “Did you really eat so little, Grandpa?”

“It’s enough, really. I’m full,” Tristan replied, rubbing his stomach like he wasn’t feeling too great.

Ophelia’s eyes narrowed for a moment, and she instinctively reached out to check Tristan’s pulse. When she didn’t find anything wrong, she relaxed a little and said, “I’ll make you some medicinal tea tomorrow, something to help with your appetite and digestion.”

Even though she didn’t sense anything off, she still felt Grandpa hadn’t eaten enough.

And Grandpa didn’t seem to be in great shape either. ‘Maybe having so many people around at Rowle Manor lately is just wearing him out, Ophelia thought.
