Chapter 492
“Got it,” Ella replied, her eyes serious. She knew just how serious this was.
After Ella left, Ophelia leaned back in her chair and rubbed her temples.
She glanced at the coffee on her desk, took a sip or two, then picked up the files in front of her.
She’d been tied up with things at Rowle Entertainment for so long that work here had started to pile up. ‘Time to finally deal with all this,’ she thought.
Before she knew it, it was already afternoon.
“Boss, you’ve got crazy instincts!” Ella came rushing in, her face grim. “Our team noticed Bianca acting weird, so they followed her all the way to the airport.
“She was about to fly out of the country, but we managed to intercept her just in time.”
“She was trying to leave the country?” Ophelia raised a brow. ‘Bianca didn’t have any trips abroad planned,’ she thought.
“Yeah, we managed to bring her back. And get this, she was trying to take everything she owned with her, like she had zero plans to ever come back,” Ella said. ‘Honestly, it looked like she was trying to skip town for good, she thought.
A steely glint flashed in Ophelia’s eyes as she immediately ordered, “Ella, bring me those files I gave you earlier.”
She finally realized why she’d had that nagging feeling all this time.
Ella quickly dug out the files and handed them over. “Here you go, Boss.”
Ophelia opened the files and carefully checked the terms, a cold smirk tugging at her lips. “So this is where she tried to trip me up.”
‘I knew something was off, Bianca was trying to set up both me and Oliver for a fall; Ophelia thought, her suspicions confirmed.
Bianca had signed all those partnership contracts under the company’s name, since she was a Rowle Group artist, that was standard practice. Ophelia hadn’t given it a second thought at the time.
But now, if Bianca really skipped town, Rowle Group would be stuck paying a massive breach-of-contract penalty.
That could send the stock price into a nosedive. And if someone targeted Rowle Group right then, it’d be a double whammy, cash flow would freeze up, and the whole foundation could be shaken.
“Bianca, did you really think up this two-birds-one-stone trick on your own?” Ophelia’s eyes flashed with disdain. ‘Yeah right. This has your puppet master’s fingerprints all over it, she thought.
“Boss, what now?” Ella asked, her voice tight with worry. Things had gotten messy, and their first priority was damage control.

After a brief moment of thought, Ophelia replied coolly, “Keep her hidden and under close watch. On the outside, spread the word that Bianca has vanished, and Rowle Group is putting up a massive reward for any leads.”
Ella instantly understood, her tone full of conviction. “Got it, Boss. I’ll make sure the news goes global.”
‘Time to lure the snake out of its hole. Let’s stir up a storm and see who takes the bait, Ophelia mused, a sly smile playing at her lips.
Soon enough, news of Bianca’s disappearance spread like wildfire across every major media site, going viral in no time.
