Julius didn't even flinch. He simply tilted his head, effortlessly dodging the vicious swing.
Missing his target, the man in the floral shirt flew into a rage. "Now you've really pissed me off."
Julius's voice was icy. "I'll give you one last chance. Get out of my sight, or things are going to get ugly."
"Oh, look at the big man talking tough! You got some nerve. Why don't you take a look at how many guys I've got backing me up? Leave the woman and crawl away, or I'll put you in a body bag."
With that, the man kicked their table over. Drinks and grilled food crashed to the ground in a messy heap.
The sudden violence sent the other patrons scrambling away in fear, and the commotion brought the owner rushing out.
The owner tried to play peacemaker. "Everyone, please calm down. Let's talk this out. No need for trouble."
The man in the floral shirt sneered arrogantly. "I was trying to talk it out. Now? Now I'm gonna cripple him!"
Seeing that words were useless, the owner warned, "If you're going to fight, take it somewhere else. Don't ruin my business, or I'm calling the cops!"
He had hoped the threat would scare them off, but the man just laughed in his face.
"Call the cops! Go ahead and call them! You think I'm scared? I've got people covering for me, you idiot!"
Julius clenched his fists and slowly unclenched them. He looked calmly at the owner. "Just go inside. You can't reason with someone who has a death wish."
"Sir, you really need to take your girlfriend and run. You're going to get seriously hurt. I'm calling the police right now."
The owner pulled out his phone.
He barely lit up the screen before one of the thugs snatched it from his hand, smashed it onto the pavement, and stomped on it until the glass shattered into pieces.
