By the time Sabrina Sherwood woke up, it was already noon.

She felt much better, her mind finally clear.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Logan Hale was absolute trash. Over a year ago, he had shamelessly pursued her, and she had agreed to date him despite his family's inferior status compared to the Sherwood family.

During that time, he had put on the facade of a hardworking, ambitious, and devoted man, but it was all a lie.

She had even introduced him to her best friend, Ashley Simpson. Ridiculously, not only had the two of them hooked up behind her back, but they had also conspired against her.

To think she had believed Logan was a decent guy worth dating. She had used the Sherwood family's resources to help him out significantly, allowing his company to profit immensely off their back.

She had been so incredibly blind!

Jason Blackwood had been right. She should be glad she finally saw those two backstabbing scumbags for who they truly were.

However, she absolutely wasn't going to let them off the hook!

She pulled out her phone and called her older brother. "Hammer, I need to talk to you."

"What is it, Sabrina? Don't tell me you want me to hand another project over to your boy-toy," Hammer Sherwood said, having just stepped out of a meeting room.

Sabrina sighed in frustration. "No. I want you to cut off all ties with Logan Hale immediately. Don't give him another ounce of our resources."

She didn't blame her brother for his sarcastic tone; she only blamed herself for being so foolishly blind before.

Hammer nearly fell out of his chair. "Are you serious? Did... did something happen to you?"

His sister had been hopelessly devoted to that boy-toy, constantly nagging him to look out for Logan's business.

He had never liked the guy, but Sabrina had refused to listen to reason. He never expected her to voluntarily pull the plug on Logan's resources. What brought this on?

"I was blind before, but my eyes are wide open now. Just do as I said. Cut him off completely."
