As Sabrina and Jason walked out of the restaurant, they bumped into Logan and Ashley, who had also come there to eat.
Ashley was the woman Sabrina had considered her best friend.
Right now, Ashley's arms were tightly wrapped around Logan, her body pressed flush against his in a display of undeniable intimacy.
Jason instantly recognized them as the couple from the security footage. He turned to glance at Sabrina.
"Is the main event about to start?" he murmured.
"That depends on whether my opponents have Oscar-worthy acting skills," Sabrina replied under her breath.
Jason smirked. He knew Sabrina might look sweet on the outside, but she was sharp and full of tricks.
He was more than happy to sit back and watch the show.
Logan hadn't expected to run into Sabrina here. The sudden encounter left him stunned and momentarily flustered.
His original plan had been to finish eating, track down the two men from last night, secure the blackmail photos of Sabrina, leak them online, and then rush to her side to play the devoted, supportive boyfriend.
But before he could set that plan in motion, he had spent half the night tangled in bed with Ashley for her birthday. They were only just now coming out for a meal, only to run straight into Sabrina.
He hastily shoved Ashley away, his voice laced with panic. "Sabrina, what are you doing here?"
Sabrina let out a cold laugh. "Where else should I be, Mr. Hale? I haven't even asked why the two of you are showing up here looking so cozy."
"I..."
Guilt choked Logan's words. Why was she calling him Mr. Hale? What did she know?
Ashley was equally panicked but forced a strained explanation. "Sabrina, are you misunderstanding something?
