"Right this way, Ms. Todd."
Stella followed the butler to a quiet courtyard, entirely different from the main hall she had visited last time.
When Agnes saw her arrive, she warmly took her hand. "You've worked hard, Ms. Todd. Come, have a cup of tea to quench your thirst. It's so hot out today."
"Yes, Ms. Todd, have some tea and pastries first. These are our head chef's specialty—soft, delicious, and sweet without being too heavy." Helen also greeted her with enthusiasm.
Stella smiled lightly. "No thank you. I'll enjoy them after I finish Mr. Shipley's acupuncture."
She walked over to Orville and smiled. "It looks like you've been in good spirits these past two days, sir."
"Indeed, and I have you to thank for it. I've been resting well, so my energy is holding up."
After checking his pulse, Stella said, "I'll start the needles now."
"Alright."
While Stella was performing the acupuncture, Steward heard she had arrived and made his way to his grandfather's courtyard.
When he walked in, he saw her focused entirely on placing the needles.
He looked at her outfit and honestly couldn't comprehend it—it was just too tacky!
However, her intense concentration as she worked was surprisingly pleasing to the eye.
Only after finishing the treatment did Stella wash her hands and slowly sample the pastries Helen had bragged about.
Steward had been observing her the whole time but couldn't interrupt while she was working. Now that she was free, he sat down to chat.
"Who did you learn such excellent medical skills from, Ms. Todd?"
