Monday.
Stella drove to Kingsland University.
She had no idea how Julius managed to get a temporary campus parking pass, but her drive in was completely unobstructed. When she reached the main gate, no one stopped her; the barrier simply lifted in advance.
There was zero need for visitor registration.
Not only had he sorted out her campus access, but he had also pulled Zane Morton's class schedule. Today at ten-thirty in the morning, Zane had a free period.
Even though Julius hadn't physically come with her, he had taken care of all the groundwork.
Given his mysterious background, getting a temporary pass was child's play, and a student's schedule was even less of an issue.
She parked her car near Zane's dorm building and gave him a call.
Zane answered, but he wasn't in his room; he was at the library.
They agreed to meet at a coffee shop nearby.
When Zane saw Stella, he was absolutely blown away. His heart skipped a beat.
She was way prettier than the finance department's reigning beauty queen.
He immediately wanted to know everything about her!
However, Zane knew he couldn't come on too strong and risk scaring her off.
"Hi there, did you need something from me?" Faced with such a stunning beauty, his voice wavered with nervousness.
He assumed Stella attended the same university. She had to be a freshman; otherwise, there was no way he wouldn't have noticed her before.
Stella cut straight to the chase. "I'm looking to buy something from you."
Buy something?
Did she want the perfume?
But that stuff was incredibly rare, and he had only gotten it through a connection.
Plus, he had been very discreet about selling it.
