"See ya."
Zane watched her walk away with a lingering gaze, mulling over her words.
She had a point. Now that they were connected, he'd find out her name eventually.
He made up his mind right then—he was going to ask her out!
With the beautiful girl on his mind, he tapped into her social media profile.
It was completely empty!
How could a young, gorgeous college student have her profile locked down so tight?
And there was absolutely zero recent activity?
Zane came to the conclusion that she just wasn't big on posting.
A wealthy girl who actually kept a low profile? That was a rare find!
Every other rich girl he knew loved showing off, constantly flaunting designer brands.
Just as he was lost in thought, his phone buzzed with a message. Someone was inviting him to lunch.
Man, what a day!
First coffee with a stunning girl, now a free meal.
Whatever, it was lunch time anyway, and he was starving. Might as well go.
Stella had no idea what Zane was daydreaming about in the coffee shop, but since she was already on campus, she figured she might as well catch up with Sylvie Jennings.
She checked the time on her phone. It was the lunch rush; Sylvie's classes should be over by now.
She dialed Sylvie's number.
Sylvie had indeed finished her classes and was just about to head to lunch with her friends. Seeing Stella's name on the screen, she answered excitedly.
"Stella!" It was rare for Stella to call her during school hours, and she was absolutely thrilled.
"Are you out of class? I'm at your campus. Want to grab lunch?"
But once they saw Sylvie hop in, the whispers died down.
Sylvie was known to come from money, and many had seen her being picked up in high-end cars on weekends.
Sylvie directed Stella toward the cafeteria.
After parking, Sylvie expertly led Stella inside to grab food.
The university had several dining halls, but she swore this one had the best food, making it her go-to spot.
It was a bit pricier than the others, but the quality made up for it.
Students from wealthier backgrounds generally preferred eating here.
And right there, amidst the crowd, Stella spotted Chloe Hawthorne.
And... Zane Morton.
Seriously? What were the odds?
