This woman had clearly snuck into the office while the CEO was away, hoping to seduce him.
If she kicked this trespasser out, not only would she keep her job, but the CEO might even be impressed and promote her to his personal secretary.
What infuriated her the most was that this wretched woman had the audacity to call her a dog!
She was going to throw her out today, no matter what!
Stella sighed inwardly. She had tried to warn her. If the idiot wouldn't listen, so be it.
You can't save someone who's hell-bent on destroying themselves.
"Fine, do whatever you want." She looked back down at her phone, refusing to spare the woman another glance.
"You..." Seeing Stella dismiss her with such blatant disrespect, Liana raised her hand, fully intending to slap her across the face.
Stella glanced at her from the corner of her eye.
Was everyone just itching to slap her these days?
Yesterday, it was Zoe Calvert—though Stella had orchestrated that trap perfectly.
Today, it was this brainless bimbo.
Since when did she look like a pushover?
She was just about to teach her the consequences of raising her hand against someone.
In fact, she planned to give her two solid slaps, just to see if she could knock some sense into her empty head.
But she never got the chance. Julius had returned from the reception room.
He caught Liana's wrist in a vice grip. "Are you trying to hit someone?"
Liana jumped out of her skin. "C-CEO... She snuck into your office and sat in your chair! I was just trying to kick her out."
Julius shoved her away and roared, "Sean, get in here!"
Sean had just finished walking Mr. Langley out when he heard his boss bellowing for him.
But Secretary Zimmerman hadn't been feeling well and had asked her to drop it off.
Secretary Zimmerman had told her, "This needs to go to the CEO's office. Just bind it and leave it on his desk. My stomach is killing me; I need to use the restroom. I'll head to the executive floor afterward."
She had thought that by delivering it herself, she might get a glimpse of the office, and maybe the CEO would notice her initiative.
But when she walked in, the CEO was nowhere to be found, and a young woman was sitting in his chair.
She had only wanted to kick out a gold-digger trying to seduce the boss. How was she supposed to know the woman was his wife?!
If she had known, she wouldn't have dared raise her voice, let alone her hand, even if she had ten times the courage.
Thinking back to the horrific things she had just spewed at the CEO's wife, she wanted to slap herself.
Julius seethed with rage. "Get out. I don't care who you are, you're fired. Get out!"
"I'm so sorry, sir! Please, Mrs. Blackwood, I'm sorry! Please don't fire me, I know I was wrong!" She had worked so hard to get a job at the Blackwood Group. She couldn't lose it now.
