Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 344

She was incredibly strong, but he didn't want to see her suffer even the slightest injury.

"Absolutely not. I beat him in a single move last time at the Recess Club, and I can take him down in a single move today. Don't worry about me."

No matter what, she was going to teach Steve a lesson today.

"Alright, just be careful."

Things had already escalated to this point. Given her personality, there was no way she would ever willingly step down.

And she couldn't give up anyway. This was about their country's pride and honor; it wasn't something she could just walk away from.

But he still desperately hoped she would be careful and not get hurt.

Before the match even began, the crowd was already fiercely debating who would take the crown.

"I think the girl from Veridia is going to win."

"My money is on the Mistralian guy. The fact that he made it this far means he's built different."

"That little girl is no joke either. She might be small, but she packs a serious punch. Did you see her Tai Chi in the last round? I think she's got this."

"I still think the guy will win. He's got way more raw power than her."

"Raw power doesn't guarantee a win. She just used softness to overcome strength. I'm betting on her."

The audience was split straight down the middle.

Stella and Steve stepped into the ring.

Steve swaggered up the steps, practically vibrating with arrogance.

Stella had initially considered using Ethereal Movement to literally fly into the ring, but deciding that might be a bit too flashy, she simply walked up the stairs like a normal person.

Steve pointed a meaty finger at her. "Just surrender now, little girl, before I cripple you."

He still planned on handing her over to Mr. Wilson.

Since she had made it this far, he knew she had some real skill. But today, he had to win no matter what, or he wouldn't be able to report back.

And Mr. Wilson wouldn't let him off easily.

The crowd gasped. Julius's heart leapt into his throat.

The Veridian team leader clenched his fists, staring at the ring without daring to blink.

The man beside him was even more frantic, practically hanging over the edge of the barricade, his eyes glued to the two fighters.

The tension on stage was electric. Neither yielded an inch.

Steve hurled his entire steroid-fueled mass at her.

Stella unleashed her full kinetic energy into her kick.

Her aim was flawless, and the force behind it was catastrophic.

The fight was decided in a fraction of a second.

Taking seventy percent of her raw power directly to the chest, Steve was launched into the air.

He wasn't just kicked out of the ring—he was violently sent flying, hurtling through the air like a broken kite before crashing heavily into the surrounding crowd.
