Stella crossed her arms over her chest and replied coolly, "I generally don't bother remembering irrelevant people. Spit it out. What exactly do you want, forcing us off the road like this?"
Wilson smirked. "I merely wanted to invite a beautiful lady over as my guest. I hope you'll do me the honor."
"And if I say no?"
"Then I'm afraid you and your friend are going to have to suffer a bit."
With that, Wilson reached out, attempting to stroke Stella's cheek.
At the exact same moment, one of his men pressed the cold barrel of a gun directly against Julius's forehead.
Stella smoothly dodged Wilson's grubby hand.
Wilson immediately drew his own weapon, pressing it against Stella's temple. "My beautiful lady, you really don't want to see your friend's brains blown out right here, do you?"
Having just witnessed her terrifying skills in the ring, did she really think he'd come unprepared?
Fearing for Julius's safety and worried the guns might go off accidentally, Stella dropped her defensive stance. "Who are you, and what do you want?"
Wilson opened his mouth to reply, but a subordinate rushed over. "Sir, we need to leave right now. The police are coming."
Holding people hostage in the middle of a busy street in broad daylight was guaranteed to attract unwanted attention.
Wilson barked an order, "Grab them both! Everyone, move out!"
"Yes, sir!"
Julius and Stella were violently shoved into two separate cars, and the four-vehicle convoy tore away from the scene at top speed.
Unsure of Julius's situation in the other vehicle, Stella knew better than to make a reckless move.
She was seated in the back next to Wilson.
Besides, was she really that ruthless?
With the gun jammed against her skull, Stella didn't dare move, allowing Wilson to finally stroke her cheek. "Too scared to admit what you did?"
"I have nothing to be scared of, I just genuinely have zero recollection of this. Do you mind giving me a hint to jog my memory?" Denying something she had actually done wasn't her style.
Wilson sneered. "Three years ago. In the state of Lyran, Mistralia Country. The underground black market. Ring any bells?"
Three years ago?
The Lyran black market?
It clicked. That was the time Fifth Master had taken her abroad to "expand her horizons." While they were in the black market, she had shattered the leg of an incredibly arrogant, deeply disgusting young man with a single kick.
But she had a very good reason for doing so.
