Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 347

At the time, she and Fifth Master had discovered that Wilson was the mob boss controlling the Lyran underground black market. Relying on his criminal empire, he committed every atrocity imaginable.

That normally wouldn't have been her problem. Whatever he did on his own turf was his business.

However, he had illegally imprisoned three Eastern women—one international student and two tourists.

Worse, he had been subjected them to horrific abuse.

She had accidentally stumbled upon the situation. Wilson had tried to force her to stay, threatening to kill her if she refused.

Disgusted by his sickening behavior, she had crippled him with a single move and rescued the women.

She honestly hadn't expected him to hold onto the grudge for three entire years. He had certainly put in the effort.

"Mr. Wilson, it's been three years. You really need to learn how to let things go!"

She had been wearing a half-mask that day. How on earth had he recognized her?

"You shattered my leg, and you expect me to let it go?" Wilson wanted nothing more than to strangle the infuriating woman. How could she speak about it so casually?

But looking at her stunning face, he couldn't bring himself to just kill her.

Stella knocked lightly on his prosthetic. "Hey, you still have a fake one, don't you?" He should be thanking his lucky stars she hadn't completely destroyed his life.

"Shut your mouth!" Wilson snapped, pressing the gun to her head with one hand and tightly gripping her throat with the other.

His eyes blazed with hatred. "Do you have any idea what I've been through these past few years? Because of you, I became a cripple! I was humiliated, mocked, and I lost massive chunks of my territory! All because of you!"

Damn her!

I just never imagined it would be a scrawny little girl like you."

He genuinely couldn't fathom how someone who looked so delicate and frail had managed to obliterate top-tier fighters from all over the world.

Thank God he had ordered his men to come fully prepared, or he wouldn't have been able to handle her at all.

"Makes sense. Mind if I ask one more question?"

"Ask away." Now that she was firmly in his clutches, his initial rage had faded, and his mood had significantly improved.

"That corrupt referee yesterday—was that your doing?" She had a feeling it tied back to him.

"That useless idiot. I just wanted to make things a little easier for Steve, but he was completely incompetent. He slipped up immediately and got caught, and of course, it had to be by you."
