Julius shot him a cold glare. "Even food can't shut your mouth." Instead of saying what he was supposed to, why was he meddling in things he shouldn't?
"He's right, Julius. You're not getting any younger. It's about time you had a kid."
Nadine desperately wanted a great-grandchild, but previously, her eldest grandson's legs had been severely injured, and she assumed it had affected him in that area as well.
Even after he recovered, she didn't dare push the issue when he was just discharged from the hospital. But now that so much time had passed, surely everything was functioning properly by now, right?
Nadine thought for a moment and added, "Julius, if you're really having trouble performing, you should go to Brighton Hospital and have your uncle Abel check you out. He's family; he won't leak your private medical info."
Julius's face turned completely black. Since when was he having trouble performing?
He glanced at Stella, who had her head down, secretly holding back laughter, not even sparing him a glance.
He sighed in exasperation. "Grandma, I don't have any problems performing."
"Are you sure? Then when are you going to give me a chubby little great-grandson?"
"Grandma, there's no rush for that. Stella is still young, and I want us to enjoy some quality time together just the two of us. Now Jason, on the other hand, isn't getting any younger either. Isn't it about time he found a wife?"
Whether it was pressure to have kids or pressure to get married, it was all pressure.
Two could play the game of shifting the blame!
"That's right! Jason, when are you going to bring a girlfriend home for me to meet?"
Just like that, Nadine shifted her focus right onto Jason.
"That's a low blow, Julius."
He had merely chimed in with what their grandmother was already saying. Did his brother really have to throw him under the bus like that?
"Then why don't you pick a maid from the manor to go over and look after you two?"
Nadine firmly believed that having an extra set of hands to cook and clean would give the couple more time to focus their efforts on making a baby.
"Grandma, I'm at work all day, and when I finally get home at night, I barely get enough alone time with Stella as it is. If we suddenly have an extra person in the house, do you still want to hold your great-grandchild or not?" Julius said bluntly.
Aside from the fact that Stella didn't want it, he also had absolutely zero desire to have an outsider living in their home.
"Hmm, you make a fair point. Then you two better hurry up."
"I know, Grandma. You should focus more of your energy on Jason. Whenever you have free time, you can arrange some blind dates for him with the heiresses."
Julius didn't let Jason off the hook at all. That's what he got for running his mouth.
