Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 476

"Right, right, you're the absolute best. I'm counting on you tonight. Here, eat up."

Jason shamelessly piled choice pieces of food onto Sabrina's plate, acting like a devoted lackey.

If they could just survive tonight, they should be able to drag this out until after the holidays.

Once the new year passed, his parents would head back to their demanding jobs, and the pressure to marry would ease up significantly.

Handling just his grandmother on her own was a much easier task.

...

North Myanor, the Rose Compound.

Today, the entire compound was hit with a scheduled power and water outage.

Carrying the meal she had personally cooked, Stella made her way toward Tiger's office.

"Tiger, Celine mentioned the compound's power and water were out today. I was worried you wouldn't have anything to eat, so I cooked this myself and brought it over. It took me a while."

She had casually fished for information last night, and Tiger had confirmed he would be in his office all day.

"You shouldn't have worked so hard. Let Celine handle the cooking from now on. Don't exhaust yourself."

Tiger walked over, taking the insulated bag from her with one hand while holding her hand with the other, leading her to the table to set it down.

Stella pulled the containers out one by one, arranging them neatly on the desk.

"Tiger, Celine usually does the cooking, but when I heard about the outage, I just wanted to make something special for you. You must be starving. Come, sit and eat."

Tiger looked at the spread—a three-course meal with soup, all featuring his absolute favorite dishes. A satisfied smirk tugged at his lips. "Alright."

This little woman truly cared for him.

She had to be madly in love with him by now!

He ate the meal she had brought him in high spirits.

Once he finished, a heavy drowsiness washed over him. He rubbed his eyes. "I'm feeling a bit tired. I'm going to lie down inside. You can head back."
