Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 534

"Then did you get his consent when you tried to make my husband the fall guy for your mistake?" Stella shot back mercilessly.

Faye scrambled for an excuse. "I... I only did it because I have feelings for him!"

Stella scoffed. "You have feelings for him, yet you tried to trap him with some random guy's baby? What kind of twisted logic is that?"

"How... how do you know?" Faye's panic skyrocketed. Did they know everything else too?

"Hmph! Did you really think your pathetic little tricks could fool anyone?"

"Darling, she's giving me a headache. Is there any way to make her quiet down?"

Julius was thoroughly enjoying his wife's fierce protectiveness, while simultaneously being entirely fed up with Faye's shrill voice.

"That's easy."

Stella stood up, walked over to Faye, and delivered a swift, precise strike to the side of her neck. Instantly, Faye slumped over, out cold.

One clean strike to knock someone out. It never failed!

Julius looked at his young wife with a renewed sense of awe. He thought she might use her acupuncture needles to knock Faye out, but she just went straight for the physical takedown. Clean, efficient, and ruthless!

The world was blissfully quiet.

The accompanying bodyguards were utterly dumbfounded. The boss's wife was an absolute force of nature. They made a mental note to always stay on her good side—crossing Mrs. Blackwood was clearly a death wish.

The flight was over ten hours long. Being somewhat merciful, Stella woke Faye up during meal times so she could use the restroom and eat, but promptly knocked her out again right after to prevent any more whining.

Upon arriving in South Africa, Julius left two bodyguards behind to keep Faye secured, while he and Stella set off to track down Kael.

Following the information Faye had surrendered, the couple took three elite bodyguards and headed straight for Florian City.

It was already dark by the time they arrived. The group checked into the finest hotel in the city to settle in.
