Queen of Wild Cards novel Chapter 615

Julius had recorded a video of her last year in Mistralia Country, securing Veridia Country's right to host the international martial arts tournament. When she got back, she sent the footage straight to Silas.

"Haha, of course I watched it! I even went online to translate whatever gibberish that idiot from Rubinia Country was spewing on stage. Your conversation with him was absolute comedy gold. I almost died laughing!"

Just recalling his brilliant student's bizarre exchange with that fool from Rubinia still cracked him up.

"Silas, what are you talking about? How was I funny? I was taking it very seriously, okay?"

She never pulled punches when dealing with anyone from Rubinia Country.

Stella genuinely had no idea what the guy was actually saying at the time, and Julius hadn't elaborated when they got back. Was it really not what she had assumed?

She distinctly recalled the Rubinian fighter stepping up and rattling off some incomprehensible nonsense. She had no clue what it meant, so she just fired back with her own words. Whether the other guy understood her, she had no idea.

Silas let out a booming laugh. "Haha, you little rascal! You really had no idea what he was saying. No wonder you two were completely talking past each other. I looked it up and translated it for you. When he said, 'Please treat me kindly,' do you remember what you replied?"

Silas even mimicked the Rubinian fighter's accent. He had rewatched the clip so many times his impression was surprisingly accurate.

Stella thought for a second. "Yeah, I remember. I told him, 'Stop talking nonsense. Even if you call me your ancestor today, I'm still going to beat you to a pulp.'"

Silas grinned. "And when he got furious and yelled, 'I'm going to kill you!' What did you say then?"

He delivered the line with dramatic flair.

Stella thought harder. "I don't know! He just kept saying. I didn't understand a word, so I just told him to shut up."
