Chloe wasn't discouraged. She enthusiastically pulled out a chair for him. "Please, take a seat."
Julius sat down reluctantly. "You went to all this trouble to call me out here. Speak. And you'd better get straight to the point. Don't waste my time."
Looking at her overly extravagant outfit, anyone would think she was attending a ballroom gala.
Chloe poured him a glass of lemon water and smiled. "Don't rush, Julius. I've been waiting so long I'm starving. Let's eat first, and I'll tell you after dinner."
Once the waiter brought their food, Julius didn't say a word. He pulled out his phone and started scrolling, not even giving Chloe a single glance.
He had zero interest in sharing a meal with her. Sitting here was already doing her a massive favor. If it weren't for the chance to find out about Stella's mother, he never would have shown up.
Naturally, Chloe wasn't content to eat in silence. She cooed in a delicate voice, "Julius, aren't you hungry? Eat with me, please?"
That artificially sweet tone made Julius's skin crawl. "Shut up and eat your food."
"If you won't eat with me, then I'm not telling you about Stella's mother later."
She was overwhelmingly confident that Julius was desperate to know about Stella's mother, otherwise, he wouldn't have agreed to meet her for dinner.
Julius put his phone away, gave her a flat look, and said, "Looks like you don't want to eat. If you're not eating, come with me. I'll take you somewhere nice."
Spending even one more minute with this pretentious woman was agonizing.
Chloe was beyond thrilled. She didn't have the slightest concern about where Julius was taking her or what he might do to her. In fact, she was practically begging for him to do something to her.
Excitedly, she followed Julius out of the restaurant.
Trailing slightly behind him, she pulled a mini bottle of perfume from her purse and quickly spritzed her wrists.
Once outside, Julius shot a look to the waiting bodyguard and climbed into his car.
Chloe tried to follow him inside, but the bodyguard blocked her path.
"Miss, please take the car in the back. Mr. Blackwood doesn't like sharing a ride."
