Chapter 13
1/4
When class ended, the tension finally eased. Students poured out toward the cafeteria.
Louisa closed her book and lazily stretched. She had reviewed the materials and felt confident about the upcoming exam. Deep down, she began wondering if Jasper would be happy if she scored the highest marks.
The thought made her miss him again. She couldn’t help but wonder what he was doing right
now.
The cafeteria was packed.
As Louisa ate, she felt someone’s gaze from across the room. Looking up, she spotted Estelle and her group. The latter noticed her glance, smiled, and then looked away.
Damn it! Just seeing her ruined Louisa’s appetite. She finished her meal and got up to head for
the restroom.
The moment she stepped inside, she caught the smell of cigarette smoke and frowned. Someone was smoking in the restroom.
Not interested in meddling, she quickly washed her hands and turned to leave when a slightly familiar voice called out from the side, “Hey, you there.”
Louisa turned around and saw the same group of thugs from that morning, smoking in the corner. Sienna gave her a disdainful look and instructed, “Get over here.”
Louisa looked down and calmly dried her hands before asking unhurriedly, “Is there something you need?”
“I told you to come over. Why so much crap?” Sienna snapped.
Something flicked across Louisa’s beautiful eyes. Then, she turned around and walked straight out, completely ignoring Sienna’s words.
The latter exploded in a rage. She grabbed a bucket nearby and hurled it at Louisa, but a pale hand caught it in midair and flung it back with force, Sienna barely had the time to react before she was nearly knocked unconscious.
“Bitch! Grab her!” she screamed.
When the three thugs closed in on Louisa, she lazily looked up with a cold, detached gaze.
Just then, someone entered the restroom, witnessed the scene, and froze in shock before bolting back out. “Don’t go in there! There’s an ongoing fight!”

She even grabbed her friend to stop her.
“What? A fight in the restroom?”
“I think I saw Louisa caught up in it.”
“Louisa? She really knows how to stir things up.
“Wait. Since she’s the one getting beaten up, shouldn’t we help her?”
Her friend lit up with excitement and pulled out her phone to draft a post. “Help her? She probably brought it on herself by messing with those thugs, so let’s just watch the show.”
Before long, news of Louisa fighting in the restroom spread through the campus. Some people were shocked, some mocked her, and most just watched eagerly from the sidelines.
When Hannah heard the news, she perked up in excitement. It seemed her plan was working! As long as Sienna demanded money from Louisa, everything would fall into place.
A trace of malice flickered in her eyes. She murmured, “Don’t blame me, Louisa. You shouldn’t have ignored me this morning.”
In the restroom, Sienna barked, “Grab her!”
All three thugs rushed in on Louisa at once. She swiftly locked onto one’s arm, stepped back, and slammed her hard into another thug. Spinning around, Louisa delivered a brutal kick that sent the third thug flying. Her movements were lightning-fast.
Before Sienna could even process what’d happened, all her lackeys had been knocked out on the floor.
Louisa calmly wiped her hands with a paper towel and looked up at Sienna sharply.
Sienna started shaking. “W-What do you want?”
“What do you think?” Louisa stepped closer.
Sienna gritted her teeth and finally confessed, “Don’t come any closer! It was your friend who sent us here to collect money from you!”
“Oh?”
“That female student from this morning. She told us you were close friends and said you always come here at noon, so that’s why we were waiting for you,” Sienna quickly explained.
Trying to steady herself, she added, “Since you’re not a friend of hers, don’t worry. We won’t come looking for trouble again.”

Louisa lowered her eyes and let out a soft scoff. Mockery flickered through her expression. Just then, someone burst in from outside. “Who’s attacking students on campus?”
As a lecturer stormed into the restroom, she was followed by a crowd eager for drama. Estelle was among them, but when her excited gaze fell on the scene, she froze.
Louisa turned around to look at the crowd and smiled. “Perfect timing. They’re the ones causing trouble, so please deal with them accordingly.”
Then, she turned back to Sienna and reminded her, “Don’t forget to tell the lecturer the truth.’
“I-I will. Don’t worry!”
Just one look at Louisa’s stunning face made Sienna feel like she was being crushed by a wave of overwhelming pressure. She knew she’d picked the wrong person to mess with.
When her vicious gaze darted through the crowd and locked on Hannah, the latter shuddered.
Louisa started walking toward the onlookers, who instinctively parted to make way for her. She only heard about what happened next much later.
The thugs were taken straight to Cameron’s office. All of them gave the same statement that Hannah had brought them into the college grounds. She was severely punished, and her scholarship was revoked.
Not long after, Louisa received a message from Hannah, who hoped she would explain things for her. But Louisa just curled her lips into a faint smile and blocked Hannah’s number without
hesitation.

PE was the first class that afternoon. By coincidence, it was a joint session with Class Alpha.
Class Charlie sat at the bottom, while Class Alpha was the college’s elite. It was no exaggeration to say that the two classes despised each other.
Class Alpha believed Class Charlie was full of brainless idiots, while Class Charlie thought Class Alpha was a bunch of bookish robots.
