Chapter 16
Jasper caressed Louisa’s lips with his thumb, the rough pad of his finger hurting her slightly.
“W-Who are you talking about?”
“Do you need me to spell it out for you?” Jasper’s gaze grew even deadlier. His cold, domineering air filled the entire car.
“U-Um, I’m not sure what you mean-” she mumbled, but her lips were sealed by his before she could finish speaking. She could feel how cold and powerful the pressure Jasper radiated.
The moment he thought about how she had gone to take care of Stanley while he wasn’t around, the beast within him instantly broke loose.
Was this why Louisa wanted to live on campus? Jasper knew he shouldn’t have let her go! Everything seemed to make sense right now.
His tall and broad figure slowly bore down against Louisa. His voice was low and raspy as he said, “You tricked me, Louisa, so you have to bear all the consequences.”
She was about to speak when he silenced her with his lips once more. Her sweat-drenched hair stuck to her forehead but was swiftly brushed aside by his fingers.
Fifteen minutes later, Jasper finally pulled his lips away from hers.
“Hold on-I need to tell you something!” Louisa cried out with great difficulty.
But her lips were once again sealed in a kiss, followed by some gentle nibbling. It hurt a little, but it was also strangely pleasant.
Louisa would’ve definitely enjoyed such a kiss if they weren’t in the situation they were in right now. But her heart couldn’t help but tremble slightly as she felt his domineering and overpowering air surround her even as she closed her eyes. It felt like it might consume her at any second.
Jasper began caressing her waist with his fingers.
In that instant, Louisa finally understood that he didn’t actually trust her at all. She felt deeply aggrieved, and tears filled her eyes. But she held it back with all her might, forcing herself not
to cry.
The morning sunlight filtered through the thick curtains, casting a faint glow on the floor.
Louisa slowly opened her eyes, her fingers twitching as she awoke.

Jasper suddenly opened the door and walked in.
She hurriedly shut her eyes again, though she didn’t actually know why she did that. The next moment, warm fingers caressed her cheek, and the faint heat they brought made her tremble slightly. Another hand traced along her clothes, going down south.
Louisa nearly opened her eyes in response. Was Jasper trying to go for another round even though she was still “asleep”?
But he retracted his hands mere seconds later, and she heard his voice echo quietly in the air. ” Good thing you’re not hurt.”
Louisa pressed her lips together. He had been making sure she wasn’t hurt?
“If you’re up, why not have breakfast, hm?” Jasper asked quietly, his voice ending on a somewhat tender note.
Did he already know that she was awake?
Louisa pursed her lips. A moment later, she said, ‘I don’t want to eat.”
