Chapter 94 That–was HER!-2
“Oh no! That’s already swelling up, Sabrina, what on earth-”
But she cut herself off the moment she turned fully and saw the chaotic mess Sabrina had
made of the room. Totally rattled, Grace stood there helpless, unsure if she should step in or
back off entirely.
“What in the world happened here?!”
Amelia raised her voice on purpose. “Ethan, are you okay?”
Just hearing Ethan’s name snapped Sabrina out of her rage like someone had flipped a
switch. Her neck turned stiffly as she looked over, about to run up and plead for
understanding–but catching sight of her own disheveled reflection stopped her cold.
Embarrassment hit like a wave. She wanted to sink into the floor.
Getting that flash of concern from Amelia warmed Ethan a little. At least Summer still cared.
“I’m fine… well, just feels like my head’s spinning a bit.”
Grace quickly jumped in, grabbing his arm. “Come on, Ethan, let’s go downstairs and put
something on that bump.” She motioned for Amelia to come too.
Trying not to blow up in front of Ethan, Grace forced herself to speak gently. “Summer, I
asked you to have a nice chat with your sister, calm her down. How did it turn into… this?”
Amelia shrugged, totally innocent. “Everything was okay at first. Then she saw some video
online and just lost it.”
“A video?” Grace’s brow tightened.
“A video? You should be asking yourself what kind of daughter you raised!” Richard Johnson
stormed in, fuming, and tossed his phone into Grace’s arms.
Once the video played, Grace’s expression changed in a heartbeat–completely stormy, her
eyes practically burning holes through Amelia.
“Where’d you get this video?” she asked, through clenched teeth.
Amelia blinked. “From the internet, why? Auntie, do you know the girl in it or something?”
Grace’s face darkened further. She couldn’t bring herself to answer.
