Chapter 103 Wasn’t that basically destroying Sabrina?-2
A few folks in the crowd still couldn’t hold back a laugh. I mean, who’d really be into
old–school red undies like that?
But Amelia Johnson seemed to have been waiting for just that kind of reaction. She smiled
and carried on, “Why did I like it so much? Well, that year was my zodiac year, and Sabrina
told me you’ve gotta wear red for good luck.”
“Exactly, so by now, I’m sure you’ve figured out this thoughtful gift was from my dear sister,
Sabrina. So please, no making fun–otherwise we sisters might end up not talking to each
other, and that’d be awkward, right?”
Her teasing tone totally lightened the mood around the room.
Then someone from the crowd suddenly piped up, “Where’d you even buy that?”
Amelia felt like giving the audience a standing ovation. What a perfect question.
“Oh, you won’t find it in stores. Sabrina actually had it custom–made just for me–it cost over
ten grand! But I think she got scammed, honestly, ‘cause the quality kinda sucks. That just
goes to show she’s really naive.”
Custom–making a tacky red lingerie set for over ten thousand?
That quickly became everyone’s focus–who would drop that kind of money on something so
ugly? And was Sabrina really that innocent, or just incredibly fake?
People couldn’t stop praising Amelia instead, now seeing her as a kind, easy–going big sis
with no drama, just heart.
Watching Amelia completely flip the situation in her favor and even earning applause, Zoey
Mitchell was so furious she practically passed out and had to be carried out by her parents.
Meanwhile, after Sabrina and Grace changed their clothes and chatted a bit, they stepped out
again–only to find a crowd staring at them like they were walking bad news.

really cared, she wouldn’t have gifted cheap, ugly lingerie like that. Tsk, tsk.”
