Even though Damien had no clue why Amelia suddenly wanted to get him a lucky charm,

anything she gave him was precious to him.

Thinking she probably wouldn’t see him for a whole week, she decided to go back to the

“You wanna learn?” Damien raised an eyebrow.

locked her screen real quick.

Damien noticed her little flustered reaction and was instantly intrigued. “What’s that about?”

“Huh? Oh, nothing.” Amelia shook her head quickly and even hid her phone behind her.

“Is it about me?”

Amelia looked away, trying to dodge the question.

“Look at me and answer,” his tone had that playful edge.

Knowing she couldn’t hide anything from him, Amelia nodded sheepishly, fiddling with her

fingers. “Well… Isla sent me these screenshots from a post online…”

In the end, she gave up trying to explain and just showed him the message.

Number one: Suddenly act like you forgot something super important. When he asks what it

Damien read all of them one by one, looking extremely satisfied, and then turned to her with a

“What kind of game?” Amelia leaned back a little, instincts telling her this was a trap.

Damien grabbed a pen and paper and wrote each of the ten tricks on separate scraps, then

crumpled them into tiny balls.

“You pick one and do what it says.”

“Me? Why me?” Amelia frantically shook her head. She wasn’t sure she could actually go

through with any of them.

“How about this–let’s play rock–paper–scissors. Best two out of three. Loser draws one and

has to do whatever’s on it. Deal?” Damien added with a grin, “Aren’t you curious how it’d look

if I had to do one of those?”
