Liam quickly nodded in agreement, though he clearly didn’t get the full meaning. Later on, he’d realize just how true her words were–especially when he finally found someone he liked.

Trying to shift Amelia’s attention away from scolding him, Liam leaned in with a mischievous

look. “So, hey… Damien’s birthday’s coming up. What are you getting him?”
