Chapter 165
“Why do I feel like Mr. Henderson was looking at Sierra in a special way just now?”
“Same here!”
“It really seemed like he came here just for her. No way someone like him would show up here when there are only a few of us here. His minutes are probably worth millions!”
“Sierra,” Cindy called out. Her curiosity wasn’t calmed at all. “Are you sure you didn’t know Mr. Henderson before this?”
Sierra’s expression didn’t change. “I don’t.”
Cindy exchanged a glance with the others, clearly not believing her. But they could also see that Sierra didn’t like talking about it, so they didn’t press for more.
“After we’re done eating, everyone can do whatever they want,” Jenny said as she checked her phone and spoke to the group. “If you want to rest, go rest. If you want to enjoy yourselves, head to the game room.”
“Got it,” everyone answered.
They sat back down again before continuing their dinner.
About five minutes later, Randy came back.

The smile on his face had never disappeared since John showed up, and it was still there even now. As he walked in, he looked straight at Sierra and brought up what had happened earlier again.
“Sierra, do you and Mr. Henderson have some kind of relationship in private?” he asked.
“No,” Sierra repeated herself, tired of the topic.
“Maybe you will in the future,” Randy said in jest. “From Mr. Henderson’s attitude and the way he looked at you just now, it’s pretty obvious he’s interested in you.”
Cindy nodded hard. “I think so too!”
Other people chimed in at this time.
“Is it possible Mr. Henderson came to Origin Games because of Sierra? He showed up right after she joined the company, after all,”
Immediately afterward, Sierra became the clear and obvious focus of everyone’s attention.
She was indeed beautiful, with fair skin and a graceful temperament. They were sure that both men and women could not help looking at her a little longer the first time they saw her.
“Come on, you should try to win Mr. Henderson’s heart.” Randy kept pushing, words slipping out of his mouth without much thought. “If you could, you’ll never have to worry about money again. You don’t need to work so hard for the rest of your life.”
Sierra’s fork paused. In that moment, her emotions surged.
She looked up, about to speak, when Jenny stepped in first on her behalf. “Randy, you really haven’t changed a bit when it comes to your habit of forcing your ideas onto others.”

“I’m just thinking about Sierra’s future,” Randy said, sounding hurt.
“Do you actually know Mr. Henderson other than the fact that he’s the president of Henderson Group and has a decent face? Who knows what his personality is like, or what his preferences are?” Jenny went on.
She was of the same rank as Randy in the company hierarchy, so she could speak very bluntly.
Randy faked a cough. “I was only joking.”
“A joke only counts as a joke if the person you’re joking about finds it funny.” Jenny shielded her team member without backing down. “Otherwise, you’re just causing problems for others!”
“Jenny…” Randy’s pride took a hit. Being called out like this in front of everyone didn’t feel good, especially as a
grown man.
Jenny met his eyes calmly, and for a moment, the atmosphere felt heavy.
Sierra’s heart felt warm and fuzzy. She wanted to speak up to ease the tension, but Jenny touched her arm first, telling her not to say anything.
“Randy, that joke really was out of line. The way you put it makes it sound like Sierra is the kind of woman who desperately pursues any rich man she sees,” Jenny said.
“I have to say, Randy. Your ideas are pretty basic.”
The woman on Sierra’s other side, Leona Marshall, spoke up too. Her long brown curls framed a bright, open
smile.
“We’d rather get ch on our own instead of depending on a wealthy man. Younger men in their early twenties are much better, any y.”
The women all agreed with her. “Exactly!”
“Alright, alright, what I said just now was out of line. I accept that.” Randy knew that if he kept arguing after so many people spoke up, he would only look petty. “I’ll apologize to her, alright?”
