Chapter 191
There was no reply from John after the text was sent, so Kenneth had no choice but to keep watching the security cameras. He closely monitored Adam and Liam’s every move.
As a man, he understood all too well what they meant by their words.
Morgan was just an excuse. Most likely, the two wanted to sneak into the women’s changing room while Sierra was getting changed.
The truth wasn’t too different.
The two of them went to find Morgan, claiming a friend’s clothes got wet, and asked to use the women’s changing room. After Morgan pointed them in that direction, they headed there directly.
Sierra understood this, too.
She took the clothes she had worn at noon from the women’s changing room and quickly changed out of her dress. She finished in less than two minutes.
Her phone vibrated. She took it out and saw a text message.
[Those two dogs are coming. Be careful.]
It came from an unknown number, but she knew it was Wendy.
Sierra put her phone in her bag and left the changing room, taking the elevator down before the two men arrived.
When Kenneth saw that on the screen, he finally relaxed. Before he had fully calmed down, his attention was drawn to a man arriving downstairs, surrounded by a group of people.
It was Solomon!
As he watched Solomon greet Morgan and the others downstairs, Kenneth hurriedly called John. The phone rang several times before John answered.
“Solomon’s here,” Kenneth said with a frown, his gaze still fixed on the monitor showing what was happening downstairs.
John paused. His eyes immediately went to Pamela.
Pamela looked confused. “What’s wrong, John?”
John didn’t avoid her and asked Kenneth, “Where’s Sierra?”
“She just changed and went downstairs. She hasn’t run into Solomon yet,” Kenneth said, still watching the monitor and not relaxing for a second. “But I get the feeling he’s here for Sierra.”
John fell silent.
If it were anyone else, Kenneth would have been more than enough on his own.
But Solomon was cunning and ruthless. Despite his benevolence on the surface, he could be quite malevolent. The reason he was there was definitely because of Sierra.
“What do you want me to do?” Kenneth asked, unsure of what to do
“Go downstairs and keep a reasonable distance from him. Take note of everything he says to everyone.” John’s

heart sank. “I’m on my way.‘
Kenneth responded in agreement. He knew it would take John at least an hour to get there from the hospital. Even if the driver sped the whole way, it would still take thirty or forty minutes, especially since it was during rush hour.
John knew this too, and he immediately decided on a route that was less congested.
“John.” Pamela held onto him. “Are you leaving?”
“Something is going on with Sierra. I have to go. I’ll come see you tomorrow.” John did not hide the truth.
Pamela’s eyes dimmed. “I understand.”
John gave her a hum and a nod. He was just about to leave when Pamela spoke up again. She stopped playing the victim and started guilt–tripping him instead.
“You said you’d take good care of me, but you won’t even stay a while longer now that I’m in the hospital. You said you’d stop caring about Sierra, but you’re still willing to leave me for her when I was the one who saved you.”
John stopped in his tracks.
