Before she could say anything, John was already gone from the ward, leaving her alone in her anxiety.
She couldn’t stop replaying his last words before he left, wondering what he meant by that.

She wanted to ask, but she was afraid of hearing something she didn’t want to hear. He had always been harsh with her, and even his occasional indulgence had faded a lot after what happened last time.
John got into his car and told the driver to head to the hotel as fast as possible. At the same time, he sent a message to Jenny.

Sierra had no idea how much had happened in just a short time. After changing her clothes and drying her hair, she went to the hotel lobby to meet up with Jenny and the others.
“Do you know Ms. Marshall and the others?”
As soon as she sat down, Randy leaned over to ask. The rest of the group perked up, getting ready for some wonderful tea. No one wanted to miss out.
“I met her once at an art exhibition,” Sierra lied without batting an eye, and it sounded very believable. “Ms. Marshall liked one of my paintings, so we chatted for a few minutes.”
“I see,” Randy said, believing her. “I didn’t expect you to know so many people.”
Sierra gave him a nod.
Cindy immediately joined in the gossip and asked, “So, is Mr. Henderson coming?”
Sierra froze for a moment.
“I heard Mr. John’s older brother arrived,” Cindy said, glancing in the direction where Solomon and Morgan had just left. She was filled with curiosity as she asked, “Did he come on behalf of Mr. John? Or is he here to check on the company he is running now?”
Sierra became even more confused.
Older brother?
“Sierra.” A voice suddenly called her name.
Everyone turned to where the voice came from.
Morgan, the original owner of Origin Games, walked over with an easy smile and greeted her gently before saying, “Come over for a moment,”
Sierra had a bad feeling about this, but she couldn’t refuse since the real boss was calling her,
“Come inside and have dinner with us,” Morgan said quietly, so not many people heard him. “Mr. Solomon Henderson personally asked me to invite you in.”
“I’ll just stay out here…” Sierra tried to refuse.
“Let’s go.” Morgan remained polite, but his tone was clear. There was no room for debate.

Sierra walked a couple of steps and then stopped, searching for an excuse. “I don’t really drink, though, and I’m not very good at communicating. If I accidentally offend Mr. John’s older brother, that would be bad, right?”
“There’s nothing that can’t be shared between family members,” Morgan said in a whisper so only the two of them could hear. “Mr. Solomon asked me to invite his sister–in–law.”
