Chapter 20

Sierra’s answer for John was to bite down hard on his finger. She bit him with all her strength, as if venting every bit of her

anger.

John winced at the pain, but didn’t let her go. Instead, he held her face, his tone as gentle as ever.

“When did you learn to bite, huh?”

Sierra sank her teeth slightly harder.

John used more force to pry her jaw open and make her let go.

“Want me to bite you back later?” John pinched her chin, voice both gentle and dangerous. “Make you beg me to let you go?”

“Let go!” Sierra’s eyes were red as she struggled, but she couldn’t break free.

The more she fought, the more John wanted to see her cry and give in. He wanted to see her go from stubborn to soft and to obey.

John pulled Sierra closer with her waist. When she started struggling again, his voice dropped threateningly, “Move one more time, and I won’t mind doing something to you right here.”

Sierra froze, suddenly aware of his body’s reaction and rising temperature. After five years as husband and wife, she knew exactly what that meant.

“This is a hospital,” Sierra whispered, eyes wide with fear. She was afraid he would actually do something here and now.” You’re crazy.”

“No one would come in without my permission,” John said, his eyes cold, his hands growing bolder. “I’ll give you time to think about apologizing.”

“I didn’t do anything wrong! Why should I be the one to apologize?” Sierra tried to stop him.

John leaned down and bit her neck, strong enough to leave a mark. “I said you can think it over. I didn’t ask you to give me an answer right now.”

Sierra tried to push him away, but she couldn’t move him.

“You don’t even have five thousand saved up. How will you find fifty thousand?” John’s hand slid up her waist, but his face stayed serious. “Or you just don’t want your mom to wake up?”

Unable to break free, Sierra bit his shoulder hard.

John grabbed her jaw and forced her to meet his eyes.

“There’s more than one rich person in this world,” Sierra said, jaw aching but still stubborn. “Maybe I don’t have fifty thousand dollars, but that doesn’t mean no one else does.”

“Is that so?” John’s voice became cold.

Sierra glared at him through red eyes. “Yes!”

She thought that after saying something so harsh, John would get angry and finally let het go. After all, John was very possessive. He had never allowed her to cherish anyone more than him.

But she was wrong. John was angry, but he didn’t let go.

John looked at the mouth that only ever said things he hated. He released Sierra’s chin and grabbed the back of her head, then

kissed her hard.

Sierra bit him, tasting blood in her mouth.

But he only deepened the kiss and didn’t let go, his other hand moving lower, and he pinched her by the waist. After that, his hand continued to reach lower and lower.

Sierra’s tears came from frustration and humiliation, but she was no match for his strength. No matter how much she struggled, she couldn’t escape. He knew her body too well, and every touch was torment as it reached for all her sensitive spots.

“John Henderson!” Sierra finally managed to push him away just enough to catch her breath.
