Chapter 244
Sierra froze as she heard what Danny said. “What?”
A bad feeling rose in her chest. “Morgan, I never said I was taking time off.”
“I’m giving you two days off,” Morgan said. “Use the time to talk through things with them.”
He could tell where the wind was blowing. It wasn’t worth sacrificing Origin Games for an outsider, especially when John hadn’t
lifted a finger to stop his parents.
At that moment, Sierra understood what money could do.
In front of profit, someone like her could be traded away at any time.
“What are you still standing there for?” Danny stared at Sierra’s vigilant expression. “Do you want me to have the bodyguards escort you out?”
“You want custody of Tommy, right?” Sierra forced herself to stay calm. She was sure that letting them take her away wouldn’t end well for her, so she decided to survive this ordeal for now. “We can talk about it again.”
“Talk about it again?” Danny asked.
“Yes,” Sierra nodded.
Danny picked up a divorce agreement and handed it to her. His expression was as stern as always, his eyes so sharp that they could see straight through her.
“Sign this, then. We can sit down and talk after that.”
Sierra took it and skimmed it.
She would leave the marriage with nothing, and Tommy’s custody would go to John.
For a split second, she considered signing just to buy enough time since she still had the previous divorce agreement.
But she couldn’t gamble that away.
With the Hendersons‘ influence, they could easily forge John’s signature. Getting a divorce certificate behind his back wouldn’t be difficult, either. If that happened, she might never get custody back.
“Not signing?” Danny asked.
“No.” Sierra met his eyes and decided to face them head–on.
“Then what happens next isn’t our fault,” Danny said as he handed the agreement to a bodyguard. His voice turned icy as he ordered, “Take Sierra back with us.”
All four bodyguards answered together. “Yes.”
Sierra looked at Morgan. He seemed to understand exactly what she wanted.
His tone stayed polite and distant. “I’m afraid I can’t help you as this is a family matter. An outsider like me can’t interfere”
They took Sierra away.
Four bodyguards boxed her in, two in front and two behind. On her way out, she quietly pulled out her phone and messaged Holly and Nicholas before dialing the police.
Before the call connected, Danny saw what she was doing. He reached over and hung up her calls.
“If you call the police, I’ll make your mother in that hospital and your friends in Lade City pay the price.”

Sierra clenched the phone.
“And the friends you just contacted,” Danny went on, completely indifferent about it. “If they show up, I’ll have a special gift waiting for them.”
Bitterness flickered in Sierra’s eyes.
So that was why her messages had gone through so easily. He had allowed it. She took a breath, steadied herself. She switched on her phone again and deleted the messages she had sent, quietly hoping they hadn’t seen them yet.
Danny and Agnes watched her every move.
