“Is there a problem?” John noticed the change in Sierra’s expression.

Sierra pointed at the room number he had sent and didn’t reveal her full suspicion in an obvious manner. “Is Origin Games generous with business trips? Do we each get our own presidential suite?”

John didn’t answer her directly. “You’ll see when you get there.”

The way he said it eased her doubts a little. If they were sharing a room, he wouldn’t sound that casual. Besides, he was the president of Henderson Group. It wasn’t likely he would be going to his own company on behalf of Origin Games.

With that in mind, she took the car John had arranged and went to the airport. She queued with the other passengers to collect her boarding pass.

John sat in the back seat of the car outside, his eyes dark and unreadable. “Is everything set?”

“All set,” Robin answered from the front, his tone solemn. “We bought all the seats around Ms. Bell. No one will be crowding

her.”

John gave him a look.

Robin corrected himself immediately. “I mean, Mrs. Henderson.”

“When they arrive, have local management arrange a dinner for the Origin Games staff,” John said, unhurried. “Come up with a reason yourself.”

“Understood,” Robin said.

John made a quiet hum in response.

The driver started the engine again and headed to where the private jet was getting ready…

Half an hour later, Sierra boarded her flight.

No one was sitting around her, and she didn’t think much of it. She simply assumed the flight was not full.

After landing, she met up with Leona and the others, and they went to the hotel together.

Only then did she find out the presidential suite was for the three women to share, with the living room reserved for meetings.

“Mr. Henderson wants us to meet downstairs,” Leona read from her phone.

Sierra froze for a moment, then quickly pulled out her own phone. Only then did she see that someone had created a temporary work group chat. Other than the few employees on this trip, John and Robin were in it as well.

Half an hour later, they arrived at Henderson Group’s Harbor City branch. Staff from Henderson Group first showed them around and then went over the work and training schedule for the next few days.

Only in the end did they add, “Let’s have dinner tonight.”

Everyone from Origin Games was stunned.

Having a meal with a partner was normal, but did that include people who were simply here to learn from them?

“Is Mr. Henderson coming as Origin Games representative this time, or Henderson Group’s?”

“Am I the only one who thinks this dinner is weird? Who brings us small fry to eat with the big boss?”
