Chapter 325

Robin stared at the message on the screen and blinked.

Then, another message from John popped up on his phone. [Make sure they start tomorrow. They can ask for whatever salary they want.]

Robin squinted, worried he had misread it. [Male bodyguards?]

John typed another reply. [Correct.]

Despite his confusion, Robin did as he was told. He posted the position right away, tagging it as urgent.

Sir, the madam hasn’t had dinner yet,Lance said as he drove in the driver’s seat. Should we go to a restaurant or head home?

Call me Sierra.Sierra was getting increasingly annoyed at being called madam. It only reminded her again and again of the things John had said to her earlier.

In the rearview mirror, Lance glanced at his boss.

John didn’t mind at all and went along with her. Change it to Ms. Bell from now on.

Got it,Lance said.

Do you want to eat at home or go out?John asked her. His tone was perfectly gentle.

I don’t want to eat at all.Sierra really had no appetite.

Home, then,John said.

Once they got home, Sierra headed straight upstairs to accompany Tommy and didn’t take a single bite.

John told the house staff to clear the food away.

He knew she didn’t want him around, so he left alone and didn’t disturb Tommy. Only when it was around ten at night, and she still hadn’t come out, did John finally go to their room.

When he walked in, the two of them were watching an animation together. The animation had just reached its ending.

I want to sleep with Mom tonight,Tommy said, clinging to Sierra’s arm like he was staking a claim. You’re not allowed to take her.

She’s my wife.John came over and threw his arm around her waist. He would never back down when it came to this. Who’s taking her now?

Tommy hugged her even tighter. I don’t care. Mom is mine.

John took his eyes off Tommy and looked at Sierra instead. Ask your Mom and let her choose,

MomTommy’s voice turned soft and sweet.

Choose,John said. He’squeezed Sierra’s hand, his voice smooth and low like jazz.

Sierra knew he was using this to remind her of the agreement she had signed. She swallowed her feelings, crouched in front of Tommy, and talked to him calmly. Dad and Mom still need to talk about some things. Can you sleep by yourself tonight. Tommy?

Tommy glared at John. John met the look calmly.

You had it wrong, Mom.” For someone so young, Tommy already held a grudge. He isn’t daddy. He’s Uncle John.
