Robin stared at the message on the screen and blinked.

In the rearview mirror, Lance glanced at his boss.

John didn’t mind at all and went along with her. “Change it to Ms. Bell from now on.”

“Got it,” Lance said.

“Do you want to eat at home or go out?” John asked her. His tone was perfectly gentle.

“I don’t want to eat at all.” Sierra really had no appetite.

“Home, then,” John said.

Once they got home, Sierra headed straight upstairs to accompany Tommy and didn’t take a single bite.

John told the house staff to clear the food away.

He knew she didn’t want him around, so he left alone and didn’t disturb Tommy. Only when it was around ten at night, and she still hadn’t come out, did John finally go to their room.

When he walked in, the two of them were watching an animation together. The animation had just reached its ending.

“I want to sleep with Mom tonight,” Tommy said, clinging to Sierra’s arm like he was staking a claim. “You’re not allowed to take her.”
