“You have a plan B,” Lucy said when she saw the message.

“Anna is your mentor.” John glanced at her, then stood and walked toward the tall window. “I’m just thinking a bit further ahead and getting myself prepared.”

Lucy couldn’t even be bothered to respond.

Meanwhile, the coffee that Sierra and Holly ordered was being served.

Holly stirred her cup and said, “Alright, say it. What’s going on here?”
