“Well?” Pamela asked Sierra in the hospital hallway.

Sierra knew the buyer was never giving that ring back, so she didn’t bother arguing and answered Pamela calmly. “You really like the things I discarded?”

Pamela could barely swallow the insult, but she forced it down and said, “You’re still acting tough at a time like this? Believe it or not, I can make John throw your mother out of this hospital with one word.”

Sierra didn’t even look at Pamela and walked right past her. She understood John better than Pamela ever would.

“You’re not John’s wife anymore. Why are you still acting so arrogant?” Pamela grabbed Sierra’s arm and pulled her back.” Don’t forget, John has already kicked you out and erased every bit of access you had to that house.”

“And?” Sierra felt nothing.

She had stopped caring about that long ago.

Pamela’s words were caught in her throat.

“That doesn’t change the fact that you have broken the habit of picking up things I left behind,” Sierra said, her words stabbing right into Pamela’s heart.

Pamela snapped. “What nonsense are you talking about?!”

“The title of Mrs. Henderson is something I discarded. John is someone I discarded.” Sierra listed them one by one, then looked at the black card in Pamela’s hand. “And that black card you are holding is also something I discarded.”

“You’re the one who refused to give it back,” Pamela said angrily.

Sierra couldn’t stand Pamela’s arrogant attitude and chose to fight fire with fire. “Then do you believe me when I say that with one word, the title of Mrs. Henderson and that black card in your hand will both come back to me?”

Pamela’s heart skipped a beat.

She wanted to refute it, but she knew all too well how much John had fawned on Sierra.

If Sierra really opened her mouth and said that word, it was possible that John would do exactly what she said and hand everything back to her.

Meanwhile, she would be given back into that filthy identity… The homewrecker!

She hated that label.

She hated that role.

The title of Mrs. Henderson belonged only to her and no one else!

When Sierra saw that Pamela was staring at her like a madwoman, she waved her hand away and walked inside. She did not want to waste any more time with Pamela.

“I won’t let you get your way,” Pamela mumbled as she tightened her hold on the card.

The jealousy inside of her had never felt stronger.

“John can only be mine!”

As soon as the words left her mouth, she suddenly lunged at Sierra.

Sierra stepped aside. With that one move, Pamela stumbled forward and crashed onto the steps. Blood immediately gushed out from the injury on her knee and elbow.

“What are you doing?” Sierra honestly had no idea what stunt Pamela was trying to pull.

“Take a guess.”

Pamela let the blood flow freely, her mind already made up to drive Sierra out.

“If John hears you push me and sees how much I’m bleeding, do you think he’ll still treat you like what you said?”

Sierra lifted her eyes toward the camera overhead and reminded Pamela, “There’s a security camera there.”
